Anybody else out there having problems watching YouTube videos via FireFox? I keep getting a message that says: "An Error has Occurred. Please Try Again Later."
I did a Google search and other FireFox users are having the same problem.

If I’m having the same problems tomorrow morning I think I will download FireFox again. Do you think that will help? I do remember downloading an Adobe update this morning so perhaps that was the cause of the problem.
We just went through that: What version of FireFox are you running? Do you have Flash installed? Do you run as Admin or User?
Long story short:
- I cleaned out Flash the other day and reinstalled only the IE version, a couple days later I upgraded to FireFox 13.0.
- My wife later noticed that a YouTube video she likes didn't have sound (running FF).
- It was fine for her using IE, and worked for me in both IE and FF; my account runs as Admin, hers as non-Admin.
- It seems as if YouTube is experimenting with sending videos via HTML5 instead of Flash if it detects you have an HTML5 capable browser.
- I installed Flash for FF and now it works on her ID.
Sorry for rambling, but so far it's been a combination of what browser you use, what authority you're running under, and whether or not Flash is available.
don't know but, i got FORCE FED FF12 last friday then 13 on saturday from 3.6 without asking it to... and i do not like some of the changes they made what rev of FF are you using, maybe the Adobe upgrade isn't all that comparable with the FF release you are running
Actually, if it is a lot of people having the problem all of the sudden, it’s more likely that a recent Firefox update screwed something up, so downloading an older version might be the trick. YT works fine on my Firefox, but I haven’t updated it in at least a year.
This problem is 100% cause by the latest upgrade to the Flash player. Uninstall it and try to find an older version and you will be fixed.
You’re absolutely right. I uninstalled Flash Player then re-installed a different version and now can watch videos no problem. Thanx!
I have had problems w/ YouTube Audio(Video is fine)in Firefox lately. I have switched to Google Chrome for YouTube and have had no problems(yet).
Don’t blame the browsers. The issue is the steaming pile of Indian produced code bloat called the Flash Player. 90% of all browser crashes occur because of the Flash Plugin. There is a very real reason why Apple wouldn’t allow it to be installed in their iOS devices.
I can’t wait until all browsers are HTML5 capable and all video sites serve up non-Flash formats.
