Will the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board require that Scott Walker be resworn as governor?
No. There was never a period in time where he was not the Governor.
Darn, you are absolutely correct but still I would have loved to have seen it!!!
I would think not. He remained Governor throughout the recall process.
Exactly. A recall would have removed him from office. Where the recall failed he was not removed and thus does not need to be sworn in again.
He can proclaim himself reaffirmed governor at his bratfest with the legislature at HIS mansion today.

What’s he going to say? “I swear I’m still Governor” ?
He should absolutely be sworn in again and his term in office should be extended to be four years from the 2nd swearing-in.
Or he could say, “I swear those liberals are a bunch of retards, aren’t they?”
Exactly.
I have been gritting my teeth at that *his* all day. It is The Governor’s Mansion, but the media doesn’t miss a trick.
Scott Walker has a mansion! See, he should have been recalled!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
just for kicks, we should start a petition for a second recall attempt.
I would venture to guess that lefties, unions, and other lib-tards in general have been swearing and reswearing him since last Tuesday evening.
I would think this would not be necessary. The executive power was never removed from him so it would not need to be re-vested.
If it is determined he must be re-sworn, then his tenure should begin anew also. That would really get their goad.

One thing is for sure - somebody competent needs to research this and determine beyond all doubt what the correct procedure is.
Because you know if he ISN’T re-sworn, the libs will have a field day if he SHOULD have been. As in rescinding any legislation after the fact that he may have signed after winning the recall.
Why? He was sworn in in January 2011 for a term that lasts 4 years. The recall failed! He’s still the governor till 2015. There’s no need for him to be re-sworn. Furthermore such a ceremony would give legitimacy to the people who cheated to obtain bogus signatures to force the recall.
