Sociopathy is a complex personality disorder. Sociopaths exhibit a wide variety of maladaptive behavior which makes the condition difficult to diagnose. Sociopathy is not one trait; it is a syndromea cluster of related symptoms.
Sociopaths have a narcissistic and grossly inflated view of their self-worth and importance, a truly astounding egocentricity and sense of entitlement. They see themselves as the center of the universe, as superior beings who are justified in living according to their own rules.
Sociopaths are seldom embarrassed about their legal, financial or personal problems. Rather, they see them as temporary setbacks, the results of bad luck, unfaithful friends or an unfair and incompetent system.
Sociopaths feel that their abilities will enable them to become anything they want to be. Given the right circumstancesopportunity, luck, willing victimstheir grandiosity can pay off spectacularly. For example, the psychopathic entrepreneur thinks big, but its usually with someone elses money.

These “my President is a sociopath” threads are getting old.
Sounds like illegal aliens, always acting as if they are above the law and should receive all kinds of benefits.

This is nonsense. Almost every successful painter, poet, writer, etc. could be described this way.
*shrug* your president is a sociopath.
And a lot of these people were hell to live with
Islam and collectivism have the goal of turning their adherents into such.

Successful painters, poets, writers, etc. aren't thrill-seeking risk addicts with a foul temper. They aren't necessarily manipulative liars. They aren't emotionally shallow but good at simulating appropriate emotions. They don't delude themselves about how important they are. They don't all think that everybody else is inferior and that they deserve special rules because they're so much brighter than everybody else. They don't think they can get away with crimes.
You miss my point. I didn’t say that were that, I said that they could be described that way, especially before they become established, and especially by people who don’t get or aren’t interested in what the artist is doing.

Try to get it right.
It's YOUR president is a sociopath...
As well as 1,000,000 times as many wannabe delusional ones.
That's the entire point!
