FINALLY! obamacare gets a Republican vote
my fertile mind ^ | 28 June 2012 | Fightin Kentuckian

It just occured to me that roberts is the only republican to vote for obamacare.

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Health/Medicine
KEYWORDS: court; obamacare; roberts; supreme; traitor; turncoat
It's actually kind of funny to think about. After all there are a couple hundred Republicans in the House and Senate and the one that matters isn't even elected.

But this could have been avoided as several junctures. There was a time when only ONE vote was needed to envoke cloture otherwise it would have been dead. But sure enough, a republican kept it alive with the understanding that it won't hurt to talk about it. WHAT! Talk about tactical blunders. I believe it was one of the lovely senators from the great state of Maine that kept obamacare on lifesupport so we could discuss it.

We Republicans don't need democrats to screw us over, we have ourselves. DAMN! We Republicans screwed ourselves here in Arizona when it came to redistricting. We had majorities in the state House and Senate and tried to play nice nice with the Dems and got screwed. Of course we had a little help from a democrat in a black robe but by and large we grabbed our ankles for them.

When will we ever lean that dealing with dems is a true Foustinain bargain. According to the fable of the frog and skorpian the Republicans are frogs and of course the dems are skorpians. I'm sick and tired of being a freakin frog. The frog might as well take the place of the elephant as the GOP mascot.

OK, rant off. Thanks

With this vote, I think he tore up his Republican/Conservative bona fides.

Yeah, looked it up. Anh “Joseph” Cao, a Vietnamese-born former ethics teacher and Catholic seminarian.

That gave the demons cover—they said it was a bi-partisan vote.

I had very little respect left for our govt...it now sits at zero.

He swore in The Kenyan too.
Roberts flubbed the oath on purpose, in order to do the private swearing in out of sight and ear-shot of Americans. He did this so Barry Soetoro Barack Obama could be sworn in under his legal name which is not Barack Obama. What exactly that name is, is anyone’s guess. It has also recently been discussed on FR that perhaps the second swearing in was so Roberts could administer an oath of citizenship to What’s-His-Name. Of course doing that could never make him an eligible natural born citizen.

Roberts has been up to his ears in Obama deception.

Jan.20, 2009 inauguration was a knife plunged in the heart of America, today Roberts pushed it in more and twisted it.

Roberts did us a favor in one sense; he proclaimed Obamacare’s penalty a tax. Now the RATs are responsible for the biggest tax increase in just about forever!

He also pointed out that it is not a duty of the court to protect the public from their own bad decisions that result in the election of those who will impose such laws.

John Roberts is now officially a folk hero of communists and socialists worldwide. The will be snapping out snarky little tunes about him. A Republican he never was. The only thing he proved to be today was that he is a liar and an arsonist of our constitution he was sworn to defend.

That is correct. We are governed by a man who was sworn in secretly by Roberts. Why wasn’t it broadcast so I could see it?

You defeat your own premise by admitting Olympia Snowe’s vote got ObamaCare out of committee. If not for her, it could’ve never passed.

Someday we will all know the real truth and Obummer will go down as the biggest fraud in history. As of today, he’s the biggest taxer in history.

Roberts has become a coward!

It was bad law to begin with, and how in the hell can Roberts twist himself declaring the mandate as a tax?
