That’s how we got to where we are today.

God forbid anyone should talk about how America’s soul was just destroyed by a Quisling Chief Justice!

I think Rush should talk about puppies, and sunflowers, and ponies! And rainbows, and frogs, and giggles!

We have enough negativity in the world...that’ll fix America!

—That is moonbattish even a year ago?—

That’s the thing. It was to the gross majority of people. If you hang around the right circles, it still is. I’ve experienced it as recently as, well, this morning.

The denial is amazing. Americans are generations removed from war on our soil as well as any war with a serious death toll.

The concept of just how bad it can get is simply beyond their grasp. I ask them to watch “the Pianist” and imagine that is the US and it is not so much about Jews, as about people during wartime with a ruthless enemy. It brings perspective.

And yes, it can happen and, statistically speaking, WILL happen eventually.

I just got around to viewing the George Carlin segment again. I remember it from a few years ago. He did a good job of skewering the powers to be. It is a shame that he is gone. He was one of the last of a breed for ‘telling it like it is’ comedians. Today’s brand of comedy pales in comparison.

Rush knows that and has programmed his show accordingly.
What else has Rush done to counter obama except talk?
How about showing up at a Tea Party rally? How about sponsoring fund raisers like Dan's bake sale years ago? How about running for office?
If obama is (as you said) the "#1 threat to Western Civilization" - it's time Rush got off his @ss and walked the walk.

Yes, it is depressing to listen to Rush go on and on about the Roberts ruling, but then there are just way too many people who are out there trying to put a smiley face on this court ruling. I am so upset about it that I am losing sleep.

Do you realize that what Rush has said about a two tier system of health care is absolutely true, but that it won’t be one system for the middle and lower class and another for the rich. The system will be one for the union members and government workers and one for the rest of us poor schlubs.

I think that Republicans should focus on eliminating all Obama waivers for unions and states. If union members, both public and private were not exempted from Obamacare and were threatened with the same rationing as the rest of us, we would have a fighting chance of over turning this and throwing Obama out of office.

How could anyone who loves America be positive about the death of America?

Our side is SO STUPID that it doesn’t even realize in the slightest way what has happened.

How do we go about winning?

We don’t.

The damage done to the constitution via this decision cannot be repaired.

Winning the election in Novemeber will not undo what has been done.

Here is an idea, and it is just an idea. I did this over 2 years ago, and it has helped me to regain my very own views and thought process...

Shut off the AM radio... just as rush used to say about listening to the news, well, shut off the republican propoganda..

Tune to your favorite FM Music station...

Allow your mind to drift a little...and just relax...

It will take about 2 months for your withdrawals to be complete, but you will get through it..

Now, engage your brain, and start thinking for yourself, instead of letting the blabbermouths on AM radio do your thinking for you..

You are going to find the world is a very stimulating place to be, with beauty abounding..

Your IQ will also increase about 35 points when you get used to thinking for yourself again.

WARNING: ONCE YOU ENGAGE YOUR BRAIN AGAIN, YOU WILL ALSO BE FORCED TO OPEN YOUR EYES... and you just might not like what you see... once you see what the republicans really are, you can never go back...

Also, once you see WHO the republicans really are, you will become disgusted with yourself for having bought into it in the first place..

Good Luck

Even with all this damage, we can do, as Mark Levin suggests, try to correct it on an incremental basis, keep up the energy, the fight and the resistance for as long as it will take, since the option is disastrous.

"I have been listening to Rush Limbaugh for over 20 years and he is now driving me crazy. His unrelenting negativity re: the Supreme Court fiasco is just crazy."

The fact that we have a few commentators only talking about it instead of millions flooding the streets shows mole hills are made from mountains. He needs to keep talking about it.... everyone should be.

Like Joe Biteme said.. this is a big F'n Deal

I stopped listening to Rush for a few years the day he endorsed President Clinton. Didn't know it was all just tongue in cheek until I started listening again in 1999.

He's BETTER than ever!

Is you a man, or is you a mouse? - Prep what you can, don’t argue with the wife; just smile that poop eatin’ smile we all love so well, and prep what you can. Bring home one prepper item a day. Just do it!

Meantime, relax and enjoy what you are blessed with.

Uh, that's what Rush does.

He's a talk show host.

He talks.

He's good at it.

He also makes personal appearances and gives money to causes, but what he is known for is talking.

I wish every conservative (including me) did their job as well as Rush does his.

For starters get yourself and your friends to nonstop push hard for your State to refuse to set up an exchange.

Don't know much miserable detail about this law, but can you explain a bit more on this strategy?

It’s Mitch McConnell who should be driving ALL of us up a wall. Instead of coming out fiery and vowing to repeal this monstrosity, he comes out tired and beaten and says the task will be almost impossible. Then resign your position, Mitch, and let someone with more fire power lead the charge if you are so incapable.

Hang on here DL... This is what I think is going on...

* Rush is the consumate gentlemen and toastmaster and rarely calls out Republicans who suck by name.
* After all, they still could enact the Fairness Doctrine because in their heart, the likes of McConnell might harbor a weasel.
* So he goes on a rant about how this is a mess, and by extension people get active....

That activity? My guess McConnell's phones are melting as we speak.

I understand Rush being gentile, but ya got to love Levin who is not the number 1 talk show host, who has called for new leadership in the House and Senate.

Yes it is time for Mitch to go, Rand Paul are you Listening?

I hope someone(s) has the cohones to run against him for the slot and if they loose they resign and declare themselves and Independent just to keep these Morons on their toes, they should not take some of our members with more Tea-Party leanings, and us for granted..

exactly...same thing with FR...I disengage regularly to clear my head.
I found out that I was a registered Republican but that I was really a small government constitutionalist with libertarian leanings...wow...didn’t know that.
I realized that R and D representatives are ALL messed up and have become completely enamored with the idea that the big federal government can fix anything.
The list goes on and on...
It is fun to tune in to Fox, Rush, and other commentators just to see what is going on...
Kind of like Zig Ziglar advises...get up in the morning read the Bible and the Newspaper, that way you know what both sides are up to.
