Wasn’t the last white buffalo calf born in Texas and killed by someone last year? I read about it in the news and as far as I know they have never said exactly what happened to that calf or if the person that killed it was ever caught.

Why is there suddenly so many white buffalo? i remember reading about the first one several years ago and they were supposed to be extremely rare...like one every hundred years or something.
