Stephens: The Hillary Myth
the Wall Street Journal ^ | 7/16/2012 | Bret Stephens

Posted on 07/18/2012 9:52:30 AM PDT by Beave Meister

Suddenly we're supposed to believe that Hillary Clinton is a great secretary of state.

Eric Schmidt of Google calls her "the most significant secretary of state since Dean Acheson." A profile in the New York Times runs under the headline "Hillary Clinton's Last Tour as a Rock-Star Diplomat." Another profile in the current issue of Foreign Policy magazine is titled, wishfully, "Head of State." The two articles are so similar in theme, tone, choice of anecdote and the absence of even token criticism that you're almost tempted to suspect one was cribbed from the other.

The Hillary boomlet isn't a ...

Hillary is an ignorant sl*t.

You disbelieve?

The ignorant part is ovious.

Now...on that second word...would anyone have heard of this vapid woman had she not boinked a politician? How’d she make senator? Secretary of State?

So...QED.

And another example of liberal woman being essentially worthless t**...err...worthless things that come out of Obamaholes.

I do not apologize for the above. One does not apologize for truth.

Some folks in the media/left are worried that a socialist with a different party label will win the election and are trying to infuse Mrs. Bill with Credit and Esteem for the possibility that the kenyan has to be replaced on the ticket.

Get beyond the fluff and typical liberal spin for one of their pop stars, and figure out what Hillary has done that can be called significant, much less great. We’ve moved into an era where liberal pop stars have the glories of fame without the benefit of talent. It’s all fiction, like Obama’s biographies.

If you want an idea how much of a Hillary boomlet is going on, watch "Political Animals" on Sunday nights, USA network. Sigourney Weaver's character is so obviously Hillary they should have just used her name. I don't know how the rest of the plot goes, but it appears that she is going to have to run to save the country from an attractive but ineffectual leader who defeated her in the last presidential cycle.

I'm not a big conspiratorialist, but this one, timed as it is, and in the midst of other Hillary image-rehab vehicles, looks pretty suspicious. Perhaps it is just Hollywood's wishful thinking, or maybe she is going to take over an under-attended Democrat convention.

Because she has been such a blatant failure? Whatever happened to that lovely
Arab Spring she and El Bozo were touting last March? It’s an awful time for the USA when Russia is the only bulwark against militant Islam, as it gobbles up one nation after another in the Middle East.

Hillary should be wearing prison jammies for the numerous felonies that she committed while her “husband” was in office and she was in our White House: accessory to murder, abuse of a corpse, perjury, suborning perjury, grand theft of over $100,000 of property from the White House, obstruction of evidence, withholding evidence, etc., and Lord knows what else this beast is guilty of since she came to Washington.

To put this immoral and sick person in any kind of lofty perch of adoration is pathetic. Both she and her rapist, sexual predator husband should be held in contempt by society instead of feted with $500,000 speaking fees. Disgusting!

Oh brother...more idiotic, blind idolatry over a person wholly without redeeming characteristics or demonstrable capabilities!!!

Evita is poster girl for ‘women who succeed because of who they married’.

Evita, really???

If she is remarkable for ANYTHING it is for screwing up everything she touches.

Particularly, I am thinking of her BS health care ravamp, lying outright for her career- criminal husband, unlawful possession of hundreds of FBI documents, Whitewater involvement, etc. .... now I ask you, WTF was THAT???

Better people with greater capabilities have been forced out of public life for less than Evita has committed.

That she yet presumes to HAVE a career in spite of all that is proof positive that she is manipulative, self-serving, deceitful, opportunistic and wholly untrustworthy!!

Evita is the worm at the center of the rotting DNC apple!

Hope the article nailed HRC! (Log in required.) It is wayyyy past time.

Republican squishes everywhere, conservative media included, have given this untalented shrew an unearned pass to “greatness”.

Socialist/Marxists are un-American, deserving of no such favors given their nefarious aims for, and damages to the USA.

Hillary is complicit in our demise and a threat to moral law.

I believe he got us into Korea as Sec. of State and defended accused spy Alger Hiss.

“Hillary is an ignorant sl*t.”

That isn't the four letter word that comes to my mind when I think of Hitlery. I can't even use the first letter of the word I'm thinking without risk of permanent banishment.
