Well the system was brought back from its flirtation with oblivion a few days ago, but it appears the system time stamp is about a couple hours out of whack now. I'd seen it 15 minutes ahead; this is a new achievement being almost 2 hours in the future.

“My guess is a sundial somewhere on the border between Nevada and California.”
That explains it - maybe it’s cloudy there so the sun can’t see the sundial - thanks much for clearing that up for me.
uh oh
now people are posting before they are posting

Years ago, I flew to Hong Kong and got there before I left. I had a hard time trying to figure out what time to take my birth control pill.
Thanks for posting this!
It’s been driving me crazy ever since FR came back after being down a couple of days ago. .....I usually jot down the time (CDT here) when I’ve refreshed to most recent, so I know when I’ve reached postings I’ve seen before.
I’m only one hour earlier than EDT, but the postings are showing I’m two hours earlier, so I knew something was screwed up. ........I hope someone has a responsive answer, because I’ve checked and can’t find any way to adjust my time zone here.
What a lovely bedtime story. Thanks. I’m keeping my, umm, fingers crossed it all went well.
I know a guy who works for the county and gets off at 4 and magically gets home at 3:30.
Now that is funny.

Well, it was a problem with any medication - backing up time happens when you go west. I had gone east numerous times to European countries and picked up time, but losing time is more difficult to get used to. I was counting hours on my hands to determine when to take pills and that one was one of them. And, nothing happened, so don’t worry.
(On my screen) it says it’s Central Time...but it’s not...it’s eastern.

I trust everything worked out OK.
Just asking since you put it out there...
JT65 comes to mind... I have it set up, and it works fine.

See my post 31.
For me, the time is: 1342934899, plus or minus a few seconds, depending on how long it takes me to type this and it takes to post.
Duh... UCT... not UTC.
