Most military veterans don’t like the job President Obama is doing and prefer Mitt Romney in November’s election.
New Rasmussen Reports polling finds that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters who have served in the military favor the Republican challenger, while 35% support the president. Five percent (5%) of these voters like some other candidate in the race, but only two percent (2%) are undecided.
The national telephone survey of 574 Voters who have served in the military was conducted by Rasmussen Reports from July 9-15, 2012. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.

Hmmm. I guess the Dems will make sure the military don’t receive their ballots until it’s too late to vote (again).
Don’t tell me; The 35% are of the African persuasion. I guess the brainwashing remains even in the military. “Hey so what if he’s a Commie pinko Islamo supporting America hating foreign national! He’s black! He got my vote!”
Sadly, our military is fast becoming just another gov’t social entitlement program.
Traditionally, less than 15% of the military are combat troops, this leaves a lot of spaces for REMFs just looking for a free ride.

It should be much higher considering Obama will veto the Defense bill unless Congress raises our Tricare premiums.
The VA is a joke. The claims process is taking 15+ months and there is nothing our Congressman or Senator Demint can do to find out why.

No doubt the Obama team will fix this with a sudden increase in some veterans benefits.

Consistent with results of a similar Gallup survey conducted in May. In fact, Romney’s lead among veterans is the only reason he’s ahead/tied in the polls with Obama.
