Neil Reed, who coached boys basketball and both boys and girls golf at Pioneer Valley High School, died Thursday of a massive heart attack according to members of the faculty at the school.
Early reports are that Reed, who lives in Nipomo, had trouble breathing early in the morning and was taken to an area hospital where he went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived.

The Knight choking incident seemed like it was only yesterday. Mid thirties is much too young.
Im sorry. Never heard of him but there are 7 billion on the earth and 300,000 die world wide every say. In this country alone we average 35.000 dieing each day . I can;t keep up. RIP.
