We adopted two kittens today,a boy and a girl.

They're black-and-white and only 3 months old.

Now we just have to pick names for them.

I have a five-month-old kitten who looks very much like yours! We (well, my wife) named her Monkey.

Eclipse

We have a female cat. Sheena. But I (fondly) refer to her as The Bean Child. The only thing that cat will eat besides dry cat food is refried beans. And apparently she doesn’t speak a word of English...

My mother and sister picked them out. They were a package deal,LOL.

We’re keeping them seperate from Pumpkin for the time being.

He hissed at them through the crack in the door.

My sister is choosing the girl’s name while my mother and I are trying to decide on a boy’s name.

Snowballs.

We have a new kitten a few weeks old. Goes from zero to 60 mph in under a second. - I got two new long necked spray bottles which I filled with distilled water (plain water will do). There’s not much she’s not allowed to do, but I SPRITZ her when she gets up on the kitchen counters or starts getting right under my feet when I’m trying to walk. (I cannot allow her to trip me up and cause me to fall and break my bones or hers if I can help it. The water doesn’t hurt her, but sure makes her skedaddle fast.) Her name is Zippy De Doo Dah, Zippy for short, Zip for even shorter. - If we can see photos, it will help with suggesting names; but really it’s actually your call on the names.

My mother and I are thinking about calling him Joey but we’re not 100% sure.

Practically speaking, it is a good thing to give a cat a name that is short, distinct and doesn't sound like other commonly used names. JOEY fits all three.

Jean-Marie (male, pronounced zhahn-muh-rrrree), knew his name, and he would always meow when we called him by it. If we wanted him to come, we would use his preferred name: "Food for kitty!"

We tried that we our cat. It only taught him not to be SEEN on the counters.

My sister in law named her pair Luke and Leia. Of course, she's a bit of a Star Wars fan, but it works. For more old school there's always George and Gracie or Ricky and Lucy (Fred and Ethel?), or my choice:

Norton and Trixie

Everyone forgets Heckler and Koch.

Sturm and Ruger could work too.
