Some information on the band:

Based out of North Carolina, End Apathy is the creation of Wade who previously has played with several US bands including Youngland. EA was his solo creation and over the years he wrote and recorded several songs by himself. This past year he hooked up with Brent and the Definite Hate guys and they have been jamming and recording. End Apathy has now played several live shows and their first recordings are also out now on the split 7" vinyl with Definite Hate released by Label 56 in February of 2011. I am very happy to be working with Wade and End Apathy as they have a great old school hardcore/punk sound to them and remind me a lot of the old California skate bands of the 80`s. You can read an interview with Wade here (*)

(*) Unfortunately, the link to the interview appearing on this site http://uprisedirect.blogspot.com returns a hosted page that the article no longer exists. Label 56 has also issued a statement on their home page, "...all images and products related to End Apathy have been removed from our site. We do not wish to profit from this tragedy financially or with publicity."

I note the May 2010 interview is mentioned in part, even with Q&A excerpts, on various news sites including this one on Fox, but the full interview in at least two locations has since has been scrubbed. Guess they want to restrict what we know about him.

I find it interesting how fast this has been handled. If anyone finds the full original interview, could you kindly ping me? Thank you.

Fast & Furious IV?:

This guy is 'made to order' and Janet Napolitano couldn't be happier. Our government knew better than to choose a mosque for this operation. A Sikh temple would generate more sympathy than a mosque would (Some Americans would see an attack on a Mosque as a good thing). Sorry, but this incident so soon after Holmes' attack stinks to high heaven of a false flag operation. White guy, ex-military, white supremacist, skinhead, tattoos, attack on Sikhs.. The news media was QUICK to apply all the right words and labels here.. Janet Napolitano scripted this thing.

From the article:

“’The topics vary from sociological issues, religion and
how the value of human life has been degraded by being
submissive to tyranny and hypocrisy that we are
subjugated to,’ Page said.”

Religion? Perhaps he was a Muslim.

What are the politics of some of the songs? One article I saw in a google search indicated he opposed Bush’s entry into Iraq.

Did he have any 9-11 truther leanings?

What sort of anti-authority song lyrics are there? Any anti-police?

His band (End Apathy) was in an Ernie Ball sponsored “battle of the bands” competition to play The Warped Tour (during the Bush years when numerous acts used the touring festival to denounce President Bush although some like the Vandals used it to shout support to Bush, possibly to antagonize the crowd).

Band conflicts at the Warped Tour music festival

... Of course, with a concert this large- with rabid raging fans and angry bands alike- there are bound to be conflicts.

... In 2004, the band Guttermouth was kicked off Warped Tour. The members of the band wore clothing that supported the Bush administration and verbally abused other bands because the members of Guttermouth believed that those bands cared more about money and their clothes than the music they made. One of the bands that Guttermouth criticized was rumored to be My Chemical Romance.

... In 2006, the Christian metal band Underoath quit Warped Tour due to comments that were made by NoFx. Underoath stated they needed to focus on their friendship. NoFx’s front man Fat Mike was quoted “Most bands on the Warped Tour this year really aren’t that good, like Underoath, not that good. We don’t care about our fans; we just want to offend as many people as we can.” It was said that he later quoted “If you are Christian or believe in God like Underoath, I would leave right now because I am trying to offend as many Christians as I can.”

The media spins “HATE music” as they see fit. I doubt the Southern Poverty Law Center included Fat Mike’s bands/label in his designation of hate groups even though he is a self professed anti-Christian.

The media has their meme in full spin.
