Sources told ABC News the suspect was a “white supremacist” or “skinhead.” And officials told NBC News he had “some kind of radical or white supremacist views,” but was apparently not a member of any kind of radical organization. His past run-ins with law enforcement were described as minor.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Page “was a frustrated neo-Nazi who had been the leader of a racist white-power band.” The band, called End Apathy, formed in 2005. According to the group’s MySpace page, its music “is a sad commentary on our sick society and the problems that prevent true progress.”

There’s nothing “Right” about the neonazi types. After all, David Duke and his followers are hard left followers of the likes of Cindy Sheehan (And now Roseanne Barr or whatever the hell her name is)
Neonazis are more in line with the likes of Fred Phelps.
Note to media: The alleged shooter in Colorado was a non-vet. Therefore, not being a vet can be very dangerous to society.
Same with Loughner, the VA Tech shooter, and too many others to mention.

I also saw an article where he was tossed out of the Army with an “other than honorable” discharge. He had been a sergeant, but his ending rank was specialist.
The Army hasn’t had any tolerance for that type of whack job for a long time.
Where is the evidence that he’s a white supremacist/neo-Nazi? He may be one, his band may support this cause, I just haven’t seen evidence of it yet. I have just seen the media refer to him as such. Lots of bands out there hate everything and everyone.

I’m skeptical of any press release from the Southern Poverty Law Center. They pose as a civil fights watch dog nonprofit, but most of the money raised stays with its founder, Morris Dees and his top guys as salary, little or nothing goes out to help actual minorities. They jump on outrages such as this shooting as a fund raiser, not to better our society.
That this murderous lowlife spent six years in a peacetime Army, 14 years ago, all of it stateside, is enough to feed the meme for their purposes.
Currently in my state, if I care to apply for a concealed carry permit, as a veteran I am not required to show proof of weapons training other than my DD214.
The current administrations dream goal is to deny all DD214 holders nationwide not just CCWs, but eventually also the “right” to buy ammo.
