President Barack Obama is backing a controversial campaign by progressives to regulate schools disciplinary actions so that members of major racial and ethnic groups are penalized at equal rates, regardless of individuals behavior.
His July 26 executive order established a government panel to promote a positive school climate that does not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools.
African Americans lack equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools, and challenging college-preparatory classes, and they disproportionately experience school discipline, said the order, titled White House Initiative On Educational Excellence.
Because of those causes, the report suggests, over a third of African American students do not graduate from high school on time with a regular high school diploma,

Obama's only goal is to overwhelm the system.
Period.

What about the well-behaved students, of all races, whose education is disrupted by the thugs and hoodlums? Don't they deserve some consideration? This "disparate impact" nonsense has to go.

“they disproportionately experience school discipline”
9 out of 10 black households don’t have fathers. Generally speaking, black children are raised to be violent racists...so I ask you, where else are they going to receive discipline?

Lincoln freed Eric Holder's people from the white devil.
Obama enslaved the white devil to Eric Holder's people.

Gee, go to Youtube and do a search for the terms “mob beating man” or “Brawl at Ihop” or “fight at chuck e cheese” or “mob loots walgreens” or any other random similar term, and you’ll might get a hint.

School discipline should have nothing to do with race.
If a child misbehaves, he or she should be given a punishment appropriate to the offense. Trying to square the numbers for an equal outcome will only result in unfair treatment and further erode discipline in the public schools. The people that advocate such policies are either fools or are racially-biased.

African Americans [...] disproportionately experience school discipline I guess it's better to wait until they experience the discipline of a jail cell or a bullet.

Agreed. I was trying to grant that it was possible to be one without being the other in regards to the policy position in question.

OBAMA BACKS RACE-BASED SCHOOL DISCIPLINE POLICIES
If it's like the following story, I'm all for it.
A woman on the South Side here in Chicago was telling me about how the problem is that too many kids get away with stuff in the school without fear of reprisal that we would never have gotten away with when we were their age. She told me about her nephew whose teacher had recently called her sister about the boy acting up in class and disrespecting the teacher. Her sister went right down to the school, found out what he had done, and then beat the crap out of him right in front of his class. I thought that if that had happened in a white school, the teacher and the administration would have had her arrested. As it was, he got a powerful lesson of the consequences of his behavior that no one was going to forget and neither the teacher nor anyone else second-guessed her.

Barry, doofus, most rural schools in Africa have less than almost any school in the United States but you won't see the students routinely mouthing off to the teachers, getting into fights, and coming to school unprepared. If they do, they are punished right then and there. And if they go home and bitch about it to their parents, they are punished again by their parents for their behavior in school and for complaining about getting punished for it. Africa may have lots of other problems, but one it does not have is schools with students misbehaving with impunity and teachers afraid to put them in their place.

Wait till the chickens come home to roost as a result of this extremely racist policy - with Obama's minions in the teachers union.
Basically, it will no longer be allowed to discipline minorities in schools, which will in effect turn them into free-for-all insane asylums where little thugs get to run wild & do whatever they please with impunity. Many times the discipline involves removal of little thugs for the protection of fellow inmates & "teachers." Now "teachers" will have to deal with them on a daily basis, without the ability to do anything about them at all. Getting "teachers" (little thug targets) will soon be all but impossible, except in schools without protected minorities allowed to run wild with no consequences.

The combination of overly harsh school policies
has created a schoolhouse-to-jailhouse track,Discipline causes criminal behavior. Sure.
Let's make sure we all stay home and don't vote in November so we can get more of this insanity.

That’s not how it works any more.
As another stated, everything is now based on “disparate impact”
I guess soon we’ll need to have only black teachers teaching black kids.
