In reading the entire article, the reported snubs took place in 2011. Please note the letter Caroline wrote for in June of this year. Seems all is well. Lol

Then, at the last minute Obama does something Caroline likes and she endorses him enthusiasically to convince other disillusioned libs to do the same. These people play these games all the time.
There are points of similarity between Michelle and Jackie. Both are / were female. Both are / were married to myths [although the real JFK was deeply flawed he had some positive attributes and did some positive things -— BHO ... not so much ... so this similarity only goes so far.]
That is about all that comes to mind.
I suspect Caroline just wrote Obama off a while back. It may rankle but her anger must have cooled off by now.
She signed the letter supporting him, because ... well, support for a presidential candidate is an easy way to keep her name in the papers and the family's influence half-way alive.
If she didn't sign on with Obama and support him publicly we wouldn't be hearing about her and talking about her now.

She’s welcome to Mitt Romney. We really have no use for him and he’s pretty darn liberal.

It’s over for the Obamas. It is so uncool to be disliked by the Kennedys.
I personally never cared for the kennedys but Jackie had way more class than Moochelle.

I can’t stand to hear Obama either, but I’m not some kind of royal family-clan of the Democrats expecting its leaders to pay homage to me and my family either.

Obama crapped on Caroline when she ran for Senate.
When Obama was on Martha's Vineyard he took a 40-car convoy to the bookstore but blew off Caroline who was nearby.
Caroline will exhibit the same shameless self-abasement of all Democrats and perform obeisance to the Islamo-Commie crack-smoking closet queen.

And Michelle wears a patent leather weightlifting belt up under her armpits to show Barry Fairy who wears the pants.
One thing about JFK and Jackie, there wasn't that reversal.
