Woman Nabbed With 42-Inch TV Under Her Skirt

A woman was arrested in Oslo on Thursday after walking out of a shopping centre with a 42-inch flat screen television between her legs.

The woman, who was accompanied by a male companion, wandered out of the Elkjøp shopping centre in the Skøyen area of Oslo with the substantial item under her long flowing skirt.

A witness alarmed the police after spotting the cumbersome couple leaving the shopping centre at around 8pm on Thursday.

The woman was able to carry the widescreen television clasped between her legs and well hidden under her long skirt, to a nearby bus stop. The police however took up the chase and the pair were apprehended as their bus headed out of the city centre.

Oslo police reported that the incident was all in a day's work.

"It is not unusual that thieves put bits and bobs under their skirts of large sweaters," Tor Grøttom at Oslo police said.

We arrested a guy that Shoplifted a Family Pack of Steaks. He had shoved them down the front of his pants as he ran from the store.
As we chased him he pulled a raw steak out and started eating it. When we tackled him the steak got covered in dirt and other crap. He still continued to try and eat the steak.
We had to store that in evidence for a couple of months until the case went to court.

Needless to say the store did not want the steaks back. /;8^)

Hmmm.....I missed that memo. The Elkjop that was robbed is about 300m from where I live in the relatively Muslim-free west side of Oslo. Now the east and northeast sides are an entirely different story. Grønland is a Muslim ghetto.

I forgot that it could also have been a ‘Romafolk’ woman or gypsy they have been a big problem here this summer (as they are every summer) but they don’t usually take the bus.
