The day after a judge upheld Pennsylvania's new voter identification law, the lead plaintiff in the suit seeking to block the law went to a PennDot office and was issued the photo ID card she needs to vote.

Well seeing that she is 93 years old I hope she doesn’t have a job.
She probably realized she might as well go get the ID because at 93 she’s not likely to make it for an appeal!
Interesting article in the Philly Inq a few weeks ago about how the homeless were looking forward to having I.D. cards because without them they have no identity. Be interesting to see how that plays out.

Proves this was a frivolous and politically motivated lawsuit, she and her handlers should have to pay back the taxpayers for the cost of the suit.
Congrats to Viviette Applewhite. Now she can fly on a plane, open a checking account, buy liquor, etc.

At 93, why does she need a say in how I will be living under Obamapolicies long after she has left this mortal coil?
I predict that the liberals, such as the MSNBC crowd, will ignore the fact that she got her voter ID card.
We live in a “choose your news” world, in which the media will aggressively push certain stories and ignore others.
They have pushed the story that the voter ID laws are there to disenfranchise people. Since this happy outcome for this plaintiff doesn’t fit the narrative, MSNBC will not report that she was easily able to get her voter ID.
At her age, she should be flattered to be carded.

I suspect the reporter was expecting/hoping that the opportunity for a very different story would emerge from the visit.
No one in the media made the connection that if Applewine could make it 100 plus miles from Philadelphia to Commonwealth Court, she could also make it to the nearest PennDOT location in Philadelphia, or perhaps be wheeled across the street to the Keystone Building. The local media in Harrisburg know the layout of the Capitol Complex, but mum was the word. I bet they even joked about the location of PennDOT with the national media.
I have no pity for Applewine. She is a useful idiot of the left, simply an uneducated Democrat from Philadelphia that will go on to vote for Obama because is he is black.
I think this helps support the “photo ID is required” case when it goes to the PA Supreme Court on appeal. It will take a 4-2 decision to overturn the lower court ruling. Fwiw, 3 judges are Dems, 3 are GOP.
Look for Romney to take PA. The election will be called for Romney by the time Colorado reports their results.
