Too funny.

Ole Chett was like a pitt bull with a soup bone, he just couldn't let go.

"Some guy called while you were out. Said his name was "Chet." He didn't leave a message."

THAT is funny right there.

Maybe he prefers it because it has the scents of his family on it.

I’m pretty sure that’s why he does it. He’s especially fond of my husband’s smelly workout clothes.

Can I move in with you?

I want to live in that leather wing-back on the left.

(I’ll be real quiet, honest I will.)

Good eye, but you’d have to fight me for the leather chair...it’s my favorite freeping chair. Don’t discount the other one in the shot- it’s also a recliner.

Dogs run this household, and you will have to submit your application to the chairman of the pack. That’s the protocol.

Kind of flattering, in a way.

Well, the more the merrier I say. I won't mind the extra dogs and snakes if y'all can manage to overlook my slight eccentricities...I know what you're thinking— "NO WAY"— but it's true, you know: lots of nocturnal wild goose chases, painting by candlelight, experimental cooking, impromptu theater with stuffed animals, leftist forum trolling, loud music, poetry readings, a little chanting, that sort of thing.

Completely normal to me, but some find it mysterious. And that I don't understand.

As for the late nigh - we like Alien abductions the best. Only the way we do it, it's the Aliens that get abducted.

And we try to include a lot of overtones in the chanting.

I was not aware my cats had doggie cousins. :)

Solved (partly) with glass enclosed curio cabinets for breakables. However they managed to knock my onyx duck off the coffee table and dented the floor. How they managed it I do not know. That darned duck weighs twenty pounds if it weighs an ounce.

I hear ya. Turning the tables on Aliens is a rewarding endeavor. But I've never been able to lure them into my lair; no success at all, tho not for lack of trying. Seems these days, they all want not only a living remuneration, but benefits. Benefits!

So I cut the grass myself while chanting in the Gregorian tradition.
