I might’ve liked to have seen some actual insane Daleks, particularly the older models which they had in the background of the parliament scene.

One other line from Doctor Who that didn't stick out until I typed my last response about the Parliament scene. At the beginning, when they think they're about to die and Amy asks what to do, the Doctor says: Make them remember you.
Given the end of the episode, I wonder if that's going to be the theme of the season.

That’ll be an improvement. Now if we could get on with regeneration 12.

The twist at the end of this week’s Dr. Who was amazing.

I wonder if it was meant to show them aging past the “happy honeymoon” phase. They met in adventure, fought through to try to save their family. Without River Song/Harmony Pond or Dr. Who, it seems they don’t have anything together.

"I am so tired of vampires. The least they could do is come up with something original." Oh wait... I know, I know! We could have young, hot, hunky vampires that sparkle when the walk around in the sunlight instead of burst into flames.

I wanted the Dalek girl to be Dr. Whos next sidekick. She was witty, a genius and quite cute.I thought for a moment that still might have happened. When they showed the inside of the Tardis I thought for a moment she could have teleported there also. That would have been a huge new plot device.

I switched off half way through Dr Who. I thought it was terrible. The Dalek episodes have consistently been the worse ones of the “new” incarnation of the series.

Sir Christopher Frank Carandini, Lee, CBE, CStJ (born 27 May 1922) is an English actor and dancer. Lee initially portrayed villains and became famous for his role as Count Dracula in a string of Hammer Horror films. Other notable roles include Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Saruman in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (20012003), and Count Dooku in the final two films of the Star Wars prequel trilogy (2002, 2005). He has collaborated with director Tim Burton in five films, most recently with Dark Shadows (2012)...as the Frankenstein Creature.

Ha! Very good! I thought this was a tough one. I just saw it again last week and it really is a pretty darn good film. The odd thing is, as a kid, I hated the Hammer movies but, as an adult, I really like them. The costumes and sets are something you’d expect from movies with a much larger budget. And there really is an underlying sense of evil in all of them.

Besides, how are they sci fi? And I don’t like them anyway. They’re dead, man.

I thought there were references to her as the next side kick. It would be interesting if he rescues her before the flight, has adventures, then returns her prior to the Alaska’s crash to preserve the time line. Similar to seeing River Song’s death before he even dated her.

We could just write our own sci-fi stories, and add to them weekly like serials.

I’ve actually put a lot of thought into it and come up with an unusual planet that looks like it might be increasingly possible. I go “traveling” to deal with my insomnia.
