Okay with two months to go, make your bold prediction
1. Romney/Ryan (R) v 0bama/Biden (D)
2. Control of US Senate - GOP or Rats, number
3. Control of US House - GOP or Rats, number
4. Upset of the night
I predict...
...the race will be neck and neck into October, as every election has ever been reported. Keeps the candidates buying ads and the travel budgets for reporters funded.
...there will be a shocking document released in October that will make people consider re-electing President Obama.
...Osama Bin Laden will release one final tape.
I predict...
...Democrats will claim the election was stolen.
...Democrats will claim that racism and homophobia reared their ugly heads at the polls.
...Democrats will claim that voters voted against their own economic self-interests after falling for Republican lies, again.
Glad to see you are feeling positive. I will settle for the guy that used to eat dog now eating crow.
Romney wins 54%
GOP picks up 6 seats in the house
GOP takes senate 53 seats
The Presidential balloting will be close, apart from Virginia, where Romney will kick Zero’s ass, and the ass of that buttmonkey that works for Obama. Romney will win an outright though narrow majority of the popular vote, and win the Electoral vote.
Obama will win in California and New York, and lose in Florida and Texas.
The Romney victory in 2016 will probably strangle the mostly Demwit movement toward allocating all Electoral votes of each state to the winner of the popular vote. If it winds up law, in 2016 Romney will win California’s 55 electoral votes when he’s reelected.
The Senate may wind up in a deadlock. Joe Lieberman would then rejoin the Demagogic Party in exchange for an important chairmanship under the Demwit 51-49 majority. Orrrr, Joe might shop around to find a better deal with the Pubbies, but that doesn’t seem likely, as he’s an all-out pro-abortion lib.
The Pubbies will win control of the House.
The Supreme Court will have at least one, possibly two, vacancies before Obama leaves office early in 2013.

The Senate could wind up in a deadlock. CT and VT have former Demagogic Party members serving as Independents. VP Paul Ryan would have the tiebreaker. In addition, Blue Dogs up for reelection in 2014 will tend to tip Republican. Next de-election targets s/b Reid and Kerry.

Your post is my favorite. :’) :’D
Looks optimistic, but I hope you’ve nailed it!
I predict Romney wins.
After that, I predict (optimistically) that Romney stands up for America internationally and we experience a true international surge. With companies and groups coming back in droves.
If that prediction is wrong - either in the result of the election or the result, of the election, I predict doom.
Sheer bedlam.
No less. :)
(smiling, but still concerned)
/bingo
The Big One will start in the Middle East, soon, probably during Romney’s first six months, but possibly before Zero leaves office. Can anyone actually think that Obama’s response to a major military crisis — up to and including an attack on US troops, facilities, or American soil — would do anything but push down his job rating?
Wisconsin and Colorado flip to Romney.
Which I believe will happen. But I believe RR will win VA.
