Child Care Costs Could Cause Higher Unemployment Rate
http://januaryfry.hubpages.com/hub/childcarecosts ^

The unemployment rate for July 2011 was at 9.1% nationwide, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. With an increase in the cost of child care, the country may well see a rise in that statistic. Working parents strain to come up with the money to pay child care costs and, in some cases, find that they would be better off not working at all. When you take into account the costs of gas to commute, business attire and other expenses that come with having a job outside the home, most families are not netting enough to cover the rest of their expenses. For some, the cost of child care combined with these expenditures is more than their total wages.

Not in New York.

The judge decided that since she moved back to her home state the night he kicked her out(I guess she was supposed to live in her car until the Divorce was final) he stripped her of that, even though the regs say different.

I think if more kids were placed with their fathers in divorces you would see a drastic reduction in divorces. Women would think twice before resorting to the divorce route.

The big money earner should get the children. Makes sense.

If she still has an ID and he is still in he has to take care of them regardless of what the court says.

It does not matter which state or even country you live in you have to take care of your dependents until they are no longer your dependent.

SHe gets child support but is no where near what the military regs say she should get.

Really?

I believe if more men got the Bobbitt treatment for adultery they might think twice before resorting to screwing the first skank they find too...

The loyal spouse should get to keep their sex organs...makes perfect sense to me.

The military don’t set child support. That is set by the state. The military sets the limits on how much child support can be taken out.

You have to file in the state that you are in not the state you want to live in.

Depending on if they lived on base or off would determine if he could actually “kick them out”. Even if they lived off post there are still resources that she had available that would have prevented her from sleeping in her car.

I had to deal with these issues from time to time so I have a lil background on how things work.

What does adultery have to do with economics? The money earner should keep the kids.

She tried to work through the military. She called the base, then the bases commander, then I called the district office cammander’s office because I work right down the street.

They did NOTHING. The Ex even threatened to go shoot up his base because he got demoted and the officals ignored that too.

She had no choice about not staying in NY. She had no resources at the time and went where she could at least get family help.

They didn’t live on base, they lived in a house WE helped them buy.

I cannot even begin to tell you all the evil stuff that jackass pulled. I cannot begin to tell you what a joke NY jurisprudence is.

For all the military’s big talk about honor, in reality, they don’t follow through.

It can easily cost too much for single and even married moms to go to work when they are at minimum wage and don’t have an extended family to help out.

In the scheme of globalism, it is guarenteed wages will sink to the lowest common denominator of the turd world. What a mess. World trade agreements (foreign entanglements)have made this problem structural and guarenteed for Europe and America. Globalism is for globalists.

More and more I am seeing a 50/50 split.

Maryland and now VA. They had a few unlicensed “daycare” busts recently (children getting abused) and now because of that, I have to either have my children at a “licensed facility” or at my house. I can’t have my neighbor care for my kids after school at her house while I work a full time job. That constitutes a service, even if it’s free, and in order to provide that, she needs a license. They play over there all the time but I can’t use her for “daily childcare” unless she has a license. If anything were to happen, she could get hosed for running an unlicensed facility and I will be cited for abandonment.

I’m sure you have to spend money to be licensed. What to prevent abuse in a licensed facility?
