I’ve been paying about $3.75 a gallon in Overland Park, KS.

I noticed prices went up substantially around the time of the Hurricane, but they’ve been stable since. I haven’t checked the price today though.

I'm pretty sure it's because of pending QE3, but I'm no expert

I'm pretty sure it's because of weather interfering with their next delivery, but I'm no expert

Obama gives good speeches

The thing is that his speeches have no connection to his actions, policies, or reality in general. In fact, his speeches often contradict his earlier statements and speeches. And certainly the promises he made.

I don’t think the $6 would matter. Was sitting in the cockpit of our boat last night talking with 2 of our neighbors, one is a lib. He agreed with us on all points but still said he will vote Obama. I don’t think anything will change their mind.

I was being sarcastic. If you go by tone and demeanor, his speeches are “good”. If you are an educated person and actually try to make sense of it, that’s a whole different ball game.

I filled a 12 gallon boat tank today..

55 dollars in premium non-ethanol fuel.
10 bucks of 2 cycle oil.

65 bucks worth of fuel gone in an afternoon at the lake.

next time.. I’d be sitting in the cockpit of my boat with 1 neighbor.

Just send the lib one the bill for the fuel you used while out in the boat.

They probably won’t understand the example. But at least the evening will be more enjoyable with out them.

We used to take drives to state parks and the neighboring state last summer. Last summer we were gone most every other day. This summer we stayed home. It costs us $8 each time we drive into town. No wonder grocery and other prices are skyrocketing. We pity those who have to pay for fuel back and forth to work in low paying jobs - but democrats have no sympathy for any of us.

May the backlash of the unemployed and those fearing job loss, along with Catholics, those supporting legal immigration, those who value human life and those who believe in the sanctity of marriage come to the ballotbox, no matter what the fuel costs in November.

you don’t have to tell me. I live 25 minutes north of the outer ring of the Minneapolis metro area.

Takes me 1.5 hours to get to the deep southern metro. I drive a 3/4 ton van because I have to (carries whats needed)

My next 3 months are projects in the south metro.

I am almost thinking about sleeping in my van due to the cost of fuel.

You have that right, my FRiend. Because of our neighbors to the south, I now have to give up my homeland and migrate to another state in order to afford food and shelter. Reading your words, “Leave and don’t look back,” gives me strength.

I'm warning my fellow citizens with removable stickers.

Would you prefer I do NOTHING for freedom?

Thought so.

BTW, did you miss any of the DNC convention?
