"Mr. Romney does not have a plan to turn things around. All he's saying, and correctly so, is that Mr. Obama said he had a plan that would work and it didn't," Stein said. "But does Mr. Romney have a better plan? If he does, we haven't seen it."
The former speechwriter for Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford went on to say he's not satisfied with Paul Ryan's approach to taxes.
"He has bought into what I think is a bit of nonsense about supply-side economics. He has bought into the idea that by cutting taxes, you automatically spur the economy. That would be wonderful if true, and it may be true, but there's no data that it's true, he said. "And it certainly isn't true that by cutting taxes you spur the economy enough so you make up the lost tax revenue."
Get lost Stein.
Just get lost.
Old Ben wants to feel relevant, so he’s spouting off. He was more entertaining in movies.
JFK would disagree with you, Ben.
I have not agreed with Ben since his movie on education. Today, I agree again.
If I know the plan, why doesn't Ben ?
Very important info. Ben Stein has been anti a Romney victory for months. I was surprised when I first heard it but he has always predicted an Obama victory, this is nothing new.
Ben, Ben, Ben .... ever heard of Ronald Reagan? He demonstrated this principle, and took us out of the Carter Recession in less than a year.
Apparently the plan is to follow the Japanese and continue to support the economy with deficit governmental spending.
Ben has gone off the rails a bit. Lovely man, but not thinking things through so well anymore.
Ben overlooks the obvious.

Bueller? Bueller?

Do you want me to click on the link for you also? You dumb azzhat.
He has a point. EDven the economic growth created by supply side tax cuts will not fund trillion dollar deficits without spending cuts, and regulatory sanity.
we still have these arguments on basic tenants of economics and capitalism. While a complex chain of cause and effects is involved at the heart it is quite simple. How could increased overhead help economic growth?
our side seems incapable of educating the public on basic economics.
When people accuse a candidate of not having a plan, usually they are quote ignorant, or simply being deft selectively. Or, they just ignore the plan that the candidate put forward, because they don't agree with it but don't know why let alone argue against it. Since they cannot tell people why they disagree, they keep spewing "Romney doesn't have a plan!"
We can’t even educate them on speaking proper English, much less economics.
John Kerry had a plan.
Well this is just a lie. I have never been a Romney fan and I’m not one now though I’m voting for him because if he is a devil he is the devil that will respond when we pull his leash. Obama must go. That aside if there is any fault with Romney it most certainly isn’t a lack of plans. Hell if anything can be said it is he has an overly complicated 59 point plan for the economy. Stein is a weird bird. I don’t know if he just doesn’t use the internet or just cant find Romney’s web site or didn’t watch any of the primary debates but the idea that Romney and Ryan don’t have “a plan” is absurd. It probably is just the case he wants Romney to lose because he is a big govt proponent.
