The history channel is now airing the Rise of Hitler. History tends to repeat itself....if we DO NOT learn from it.
Just started 20 minutes ago....seems like Germany was looking for it's "messiah" back then.

Because they REFUSE to see it. I think we’re living in the “last of the system of things”.

You have GOT to watch the History Channel Special
It is the single best Documentary on Nazi Germany I have ever seen.
No Interviews 70 years later, no expert analysis.
Just the Film and statements taken at the time.
It is how the German people and the world honestly felt about Hitler and Germany at their present time.
You will be asking the whole time "How could they let this happen" because you have the hindsight of History, it is what our Children will be asking about us.
It is very, VERY scary.
“Times” magazine named Hitler man of the year.
Surprising.....errr, unexpected.
My only suggestion for viewers is not to get too tied to the idea of it being like Obama. Its too important to understand the whole context of the world the Germans lived in compared to the world we live in today.
Its an overall indictment of progressivism as a whole.

Was different from Third Reich-The Rise/The Fall.
I can't check the History Channel right now so I thought you was watching something different.

Remember what Cripple said though, Hitler and Ubama are NOT the same, the do however share the SAME Ideological roots.

Way too many similarities to dismiss.
Hitler was a National Socialist, as is our left, even more so.
To me, we're actually fighting against something MORE evil than Hitler.

I’ve seen this documentary/movie a lot of times on History Channel. Watching it right now while cooking Sunday dinner...
I’m still get perplexed and aghast at the thought of the little children being told to recite those anti-Jew poems... and all the footage of Olympics 1936 in Berlin is always interesting...
I have to say that History did a good job in this Rise and Fall series...
Okay, this is TOTALLY off course. But as I was outside having a butt, I realized the Ice Cream Man hasn’t come around.
I don’t know why that popped into my mind (okay, I’m in the mood for a toasted almond ice cream bar). The Ice Cream man was ALWAYS around.
I think I’m reverting to my youth....Lord help me.
