Media representatives who attended the contest, have voted for the best meal, in the presence of a number of officials of Emirates Palace.

First place Camel burger sandwich winner was Chef Amit Gomes. The head-chef decided to place his winning sandwich on the Emirates Palace’s / Le Cafe / list of available food and a number of restaurants in the palace, to be available for guests and visitors who are interested in meals inspired by local heritage.

Emirates Palace General Manager, Bugra Berberuglo, said that the palace was keen on organizing this competition to promote the camel’s meat as one of the main meal in the United Arab Emirates, and to focus on its health benefits and high nutritional value.
