I really really, really hate the word "transform," and phrases like "fair share."

Can't imagine why.

“at the end of the day”, “absolutely”.

Some say one of them was actually a sheep.

It doesn’t bother me...just sounds, well..folksy! Funny how some other talk show host repeats it impulsively after hearing Rush use it.

I’ve really had my fair share of *global warming* and how it transforms our planet.

[Insert quizzical polar bears on a ice floe image here]...I think there are images that fall into a cliche

“Basically, no, it’s not impacting me!”

You beat me to it. “Impact” is the wrong word, which has a totally different meaning. I cringe every time I hear it used wrong which is all the time.

The word “affect” is the correct word.

And how about the word “FebUary” rather than the correct pronunciation “FebRUary.” That drives me bonkers.

“Sources close to ____ say...” or “There are some who say...” which translated means “Listen closely to this s*** we just made up out of whole cloth...”

LOL!!!

You are so correct.

Thank you for the good laugh. A good laugh is rare these days.

Ref post #55.

I just learned something...I now know where the Spanish word “fundillo” comes from.
