A Sanford judge has set an Oct. 19 hearing so that George Zimmerman's lawyer and prosecutors can argue over what to do about Trayvon Martin's school records.

Trayvon is the unarmed black 17-year-old whom Zimmerman fatally shot Feb. 26 in Sanford.

Earlier this month defense attorney Mark O'Mara issued subpoenas for the school records, making clear that he wants to look at Trayvon's disciplinary records, attendance, test scores and other information.

Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda accused O'Mara of trying to start a media feeding frenzy – he used the phrase "chum the waters" – with that request.

Trayvon's school records have become a contentious issue because police reported that he was in Sanford the night he was shot – and not in high school in Miami-Dade – because he'd been suspended for 10 days after officials found him with an empty marijuana baggie.

Prosecutors have charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder. He says he acted in self-defense after Trayvon attacked him.

De la Rionda does not oppose the subpoena for Trayvon's school records, he wrote in court paperwork filed, but he doesn't want the information made public.

He asked Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson to seal whatever they reveal.

De la Rionda also asked the judge to make O'Mara file all future subpoenas under seal, to review each one in secret and decide whether it should be issued and then to evaluate in secret the information it produces and decide whether that information should be kept from the public.

Explain how in the first place the clumsy, uncoordinated Zimmerman could catch up to the younger leaner swifter stronger teenager who had already fled the scene -- much less try to detain him.

In his excitement to detain the suspect, maybe Zimmerman tripped in the dark. Maybe he ran or backed into a tree, a satellite dish bracket, or the dog poop sign. Sh!t happens. Ex-bouncer, cop-wannabe George looked pretty mean and lean -- like a fighting machine -- in this photo. Looks like he was working out at the gym in the clubhouse.

After a two mile walk to and from the store, I don’t know how “swift” Trayvon would be. Personally, I’d be pooped. And with a 46-pound weight advantage, Zimmerman would be the stronger of the two.

And which deposition would that be? Zimmerman made many statements to the police, each different from the last: he was punched at the T and fell backward – he was punched at the T and stumbled forward. None of his statements explained the 50-foot debris trail down the sidewalk.

As you can see the State has no case and should be investigating the Trayvon Trashcan Tour for fraud and the Crumpmeister and company for obstruction of justice and subourning perjury.

Witness 18 watched Zimmerman walk back to the T where he supposedly ‘dropped’ the key fob. He made sure the little flashlight was ‘on’, so it would be easily found.

Remember when Zimmerman said he was fearful to walk back to his truck in the dark. I guess he forget that he had not one, but two (2) flashlights with him. Sorta like he forgot he had a gun on his hip, even ‘tho he had just put it there moments before. But then again, maybe Zimmerman wore it at home all day long, so his not-yet-born children wouldn’t play with it.

Of course, we all know Zimmerman never went to RVC, nor did he ever provide a house address from RVC to the cops. But they weren’t expecting one — a fixed address would have been useless to them. Zimmerman had already stated that the suspect was on the move – heading to the back gate – and Zimmerman’s vehicle was parked on a different street.

The ME did not have my husband’s DL. I hope you are not suggesting that he requested a copy of it from the DMV instead of using his tape measure. Get real!

I guess you forgot about the 2nd bond hearing when the BDLR asked GZ's father: "How could your son cry out [if,since, when] Martin had his hand over his mouth???"

There had been no testimony yet that Martin had his hand over his mouth, but BDLR assumed and acknowledged it to have been so in his question. His question entered it into the court record along with the answer to the prosecution's and the Trayvonista's dismay.

The grainy b/w one but the one with cuts scrapes blood was taken that night by the police/emt along with written reports that blood covered 40% of his head.

So his head injuries came from scraping his head on the sidewalk during the assault.

Since no hood was seen, Zimmerman was, by logical deduction, on top and not Martin.

But he was on top of Martin???

If he was on top of Martin, how did he scrape his head on the sidewalk???

George Zimmerman attorney Mark O’Mara who is adamant that, given the preponderance of evidence in his client’s favor, they’re not looking for a deal to avoid going to trial. In his estimation, the broken nose Zimmerman suffered at the hands of Trayvon Martin (moreso than the cuts on the back of his head) is proof positive the altercation was started by the Skittles-scarfing yoot, and that GZ acted in self defense.

O’Mara also let slip that, in order to try to catch Zimmerman in a lie, the Sanford police told him they had a surveillance video of the whole thing. Only they don’t. And Zimmerman stuck to his story.

Go back and take a look at Zimmerman's photos from the police station. Take a good look at his boots. The front/toes of his boots are soaking wet and covered with grass bits. The back of his boots and his jeans are dry and pristine.

Kevin O'Rourke, a paramedic on the scene, said that Zimmerman had a possible fracture. He was the only paramedic that made that judgement call. He was also the only paramedic who said 45% of Zimmerman's head was covered with blood, thus the defense called him as a witness.

But Mr. O'Rourke was not the lead paramedic and if you listen to his interview you'll find out that he never had any personal contact with Zimmerman. His sole contribution that night was to pour peroxide onto a gauze pad and pass it to the paramedic who was attending to Zimmerman.

I assume when he saw the PA the next day, Zimmerman proclaimed, "The EMS guy said my nose was broken!" Thus, she charted "likely broken nose".

Too bad he never followed her advise to see an ENT . . . now we'll never know if Zimmerman's nose was broken or not.

Many believe Zimmerman's nose injury could have been caused by the recoil from his gun.

The Diagnosis Code 802.0 on his chart reads: "Nasal Bone, closed fracture. Broken Nose~ We discussed that it is likely broken, but does not appear to have septal devialion. The swelling and black e.yes are typical of this injury."

Who is "we"???

There is a medical record of a diagnosed "closed fracture" of the nasal bones, Broken Nose, likely broken nose, with two black eyes that usually accompany this type of injury.

Do you have a medical report that says otherwise???

and a medical report that says that firing a gun can cause these types of injuries???

ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Codes are billable medical codes that are used to specify a diagnosis on a reimbursement claim. They are used to insure payment to the medical provider by the patient's insurance.

There is no code for 'likely broken' or 'possible fracture'. In order to get paid, the billing clerk had to enter something.

I notice that ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Code 309.81, the billable medical code that is used to specify a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, is not entered. Who told Zimmerman he had PTSD? Release his records!

I don't need no stinkin' medical report that says the recoil from firing a gun can cause unjuries. There are plenty of Kel Tec PF-9 owners who have posted youtube videos discussing that very problem with their Kel Tec PF-9's.

So what now??? the doctor is lying??? the clinic has committed insurance fraud??? the emt is lying??? the pictures are lying??? everybody and everything is lying except team skittles??? yeah right!!!

Show me a medical report that says the "nose is not likely broken". Even if it wasn't and was just swollen as it was, that is sufficient documentation. "Likely broken nose" with the black eyes, lacerations to the back of the head, and cut on the bridge of his nose are all sufficient enough to prove that he was assaulted by a thug.

And btw the ME did not test the thug's hands for Zimmerman's blood/DNA. It's not that he didn't find any. He didn't test for it or look for it. If you don't test for something or look for it you won't find it. They only did scrapings under the fingernails. The ME will get torn apart in court for that and it will be to Zimmerman's benefit.

Did the EMT lie – the one who attended to Zimmerman? That would be Michael Brandy.

He wrote: 'Pt has abrasions to forehead, + bleeding/tenderness to his nose, and a small laceration to the back of his head. All injuries have minor bleeding.'

Brandy noted: ‘Pt states he was assaulted and his head was struck on the pavement.’

Brandy also noted: 'Pt states he was assaulted and his head was struck on the pavement.'

Brandy charted the cause of the injury as: 'struck by blunt/thrown object', and that the laceration on Zimmerman’s head was one-inch in length.

Brandy went on to note Zimmerman’s past medical history: IBS with Librax and Tamazepam as medications. But there is no mention of Zimmerman's ADD/ADHD and his Adderall.
