This is disgusting! The letter sent to her is soooooooo TYPICAL lib!!!! And God love her husband!
This is progressives for ya', folks! Obesity is now the accepted bigotry! Michelle Obama approves!
What a beautiful woman.
Fat kills.
Hatred and bigotry are always OK -- if you pick the right victims. The Left has made a lot of use of the PC stick. All of their sacred cows are protected. Anyone outside the Leftist fold is fair game. Pretty sweet deal for them, huh?
It's pretty disgusting, and there will be a reckoning.
So does stupidity.
Hatred and bigotry from liberals is always ok.
The woman is beautiful and gracious.
I’ve been called worse on the internet.
Not saying it’s okay.
It depends on the lifestyle she leads. There are many overweight people, who do exercise regularly and eat reasonable diets.
If she’s not being impeded from living an active lifestyle, it’s probably not hurting her. It’s when she’s having to live a less active lifestyle that it should concern her.
She’s a victim of bullying? Oh please.
You get paid to go on TV, we get to make fun of you. That’s the deal.
Jennifer’s brother is the actor Ron Livingston who starred in Band of Brothers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Livingston
It was attorney Kenneth W. Krause that was harassing her.
What’s the frequency Kenneth?
Looks to me like this woman is just doing a whole lot of whining and reaching for victimhood. The guy’s email might have been in poor taste, but it was hardly “hurtful” or “an attack”. The guy just said “Hey don’t you think you could be a better role model for young girls by losing weight?” Then this woman does a whole segment on “you don’t know me! I’m more than a number on a scale!” What the hell does that have to do with the email? The guy never made comments about her in any other area other than her weight. This woman needs to grow the hell up.
So does that mean you post on an internet site and we can make fun of you?
Sweet!
What an overreaction.
She was not bullied. She did more bullying that an email can do. She is the one who has a powerful position on TV, the writer of an email has no power unless you give it to them.
Ohh... The guy from ‘Office Space’? Great movie!
I have no problem with fat people, I am one.
But the hysterical overreaction to a pointless email was asinine. She just wanted some attention.
Go ahead. Bully.
Since a lot of Americans act like herds in attack mode, and Moochelle has put a target on the backs of fat people, and fat children, in particular, I think it is fine that she’s bullying a bully. Her weight is none of his business and I’m sure he has faults of his own he could be working on rather than harassing fatties. Her weight is not Moochelle’s business, either.
I love the part where she says she has a thick skin and the man’s email means nothing to her.
Nothing leads to 15 minutes of angry reaction.
Let’s just say there’s a reason she’s doing the morning news in LaCrosse, WI and not New York City or LA.
How was the letter writer bullying? An email has no power. Nobody else would have ever known about it had she not decided to tell the world. She gave it power.
Oh, you are just to funny.
There is no reason to bully you, you know who you are.
She has attention. What she did was call someone an asshole when he was acting like an asshole. Our society would be a lot better if there was some shame in acting like a jerk.
So reach for that victimhood cream and anoint thyself.
So someone has a different opinion than her
la-dee-da
“You know who you are and you look mahvelous.” Nando.
I just love how self confident you are considering.
She made a private communication public, that alone makes her the aggressor in this situation. Someone wrote her a message she didn’t agree with, that is NOT bullying unless he wrote dozens of them. Her overreaction comes across as hysterical.
So anyone has the right to say anything they want and not bear responsibility for it? I’m all for free speech, but not for avoidance of consequence when you say something.
You are right if she only is dealing with one letter. However, being a heavy reporter, she probably is exposed to a lot of people telling her about abuse of kids while the herd is on an anti-fatty binge. It’s stepped up. Alot of bullies are treating fat people like they treat smokers or like Muslims treat infidels.
There is just no need for more campaigns of hate against groups of people by the nose bud nanny staters. I can see the anti-fat thing developing into employment discrimination, medical care discrimination and worse abuse.
She could have written him back.
Instead she issues a FATWA and calls for his beheading for not agreeing with her.
Bullcrap. She didn’t say to behead him, she just called him a bully. Most bullying doesn’t take place in public, it takes place in private.
If we would bring shame back as a needed part of our society, then a few more people might think about being shamed before they open their mouth and say things without considering how it might affect them.

Maybe she have taken Michelle Obama or Michael Bloomberg to task then. Writing an email is NOT bullying. She did a lot more bullying in her 15 minutes of hysterics than a stupid email that no one had heard of, which she gave power by bringing it to the world.
Will they give the letter writer equal time to respond?
Of course not, he has been maligned, tried and executed on TV without a trial for having a different opinion than the host. The station should be sued for airing this vile personal vendetta unless they let this guy on to respond.
I would like to see the guy sue the TV station. They allowed this woman to spew her personal vendetta for 15 minutes. That station needs new management.
Take up his case. Sounds like you two would work well together.
Ya, your right; shes not a stupid freaking anorexic.
She could have just deleted his email and ignored him.
She could have just deleted his email and ignored him.
I don’t agree with the letter.
That wasn’t my point.
It was a private communication and she chose to bully him on the air and the station allowed it for 15 minutes.
He should sue, I bet he will too. He should have time to respond to this personal vendetta she launched.
He could have just not sent the e-mail. He did, he didn’t expect to be told off, I’m sure. But he was.
It is like someone who breaks into a house to rob it and ends up getting shot. Those who have the same mentality as the thief scream that he shouldn’t have been killed for robbery. But I assert that if you don’t want to be killed, you shouldn’t break into a house.
Likewise, if you don’t want to be called out for being a jerk, don’t act like a jerk.
It was an email. Your analogy makes no sense.
It is like someone knocked on the door to inform them their sprinkler is leaking and being blown up by a bazooka.
15 minutes of uninterrupted, one sided vitriol.
That broadcast license should be revoked.
He was a jerk who got called out for being a jerk. I’m sure he didn’t expect to be criticized by the public figure he privately criticized, but those are the risks you take.
I agree wholeheartedly.
Because you called me fat, well, uh your a Bully, that’s it! yeah your a BULLY!
And because you called me fat I can tell the world that Critical Thinking is no longer necessary! yeah, That’s the Ticket.
I am waiting for Rod Serling to explain the past few years of my life.
You spoke of beheading, and my analogy makes no sense?
He wasn’t trying to be nice and let her know the sprinkler was leaking, he was being a jerk telling her he thought she was too fat for television. He got called a jerk, because he was.
an email VS 15 minutes of broadcast assault
which is the bully?
The station should be taken off the air for allowing that kind of one-sided personal vendetta to be aired
Another victory for freedom of speech. /sarc
Just as a sidebar to your other communications on this thread tonight,
I agree that it is entertaining (to say the least) to let my announcer use the opinion segment for her personal diatribe. (MY A.M. personality who happens to be the wife of my 6:00 P. M. Host)? No dysfunction with that News Powerhouse.
I am certain they slant their news for Romney, too.
I disagree. He had to instigate the exchange. The fact that he did not anticipate a response does not absolve him of the fact that if he hadn’t sent the e-mail she wouldn’t have had an e-mail to respond to.
So he is the bully. Sometimes, not as much anymore, bullies get thier asses kicked by those they are picking on.
He picked on her, she kicked his ass. Bully got what he desrved.
puh-leeze
They abused their power and should be held accountable.
He was no bully, She was. They should be sued, the station should have its license revoked. They used their airtime in a manner that is just pure bullying.
It was an email, she could have written back.
Instead she decided to use her powerful position and bully pulpit. He has no bully pulpit, all he did was write a private email with his opinion. That is not bullying. The bully is the TV station.
An email vs 15 minutes on TV. Where is the real bully in this equation?
