Last week, when hundreds of thousands of people in Madrid, Barcelona and throughout Spain protested, rioted, rebelled and called for the forced resignation of every one of their parliamentary representatives and the formation of a new government, the silence from global mainstream media was deafening.
With jobless rates for those between the ages of 20 and 35 exceeding 50%, further social spending measures promised by the government, and tens of billions in handouts being transferred to large financial institutions in the broader Euro Zone, those impoverished by the economic collapse of the last four years would not be silenced.
They took the streets in droves. They rushed their parliament building, forcing representatives to barricade themselves inside. They confronted their government head on.
And for their transgressions, they were indiscriminately fired upon, beaten, and bloodied by riot police; men, women, young, old, it mattered not to the policing arm of the global elite.

One could take over DC with a box cutter. However, there is a lot of lead in the Appalacian hills that one would not want to mess with. Besides, if some Arab can build an IED, an American will build one 100x better. Any student of the Civil War knows that Americans are very good at killing each other and the result is a flip of the coin.

Spain recently elected a conservative government which is trying to reign in spending and get their social welfare state under control. The communist trade unions, socialist political party’s and non producing leechers have been holding mass protests and rioting. These leftists are violent and police are forced to take a heavy hand with them now and again. I am certainly not sympathetic to a bunch of lazy liberal non-producers stomping around in the streets because they may lose some of their freebies.
Some readers fail to see the general demographic of the protesters in Spain and those likely to be protesting here in the near future. ;-)

It almost appears that the policia are egging them on to respond to the attacks. It’s as if they want them to attack and riot and respond do that they can bring out the big guns and dispose of them
National Guard troops fired upon demonstrating Kent State students. Eight were killed. The students were protesting the Vietnam war. i.e. Government troops killed American citizens and the citizens were not harming the troops.

What bothers me is hearing people say “he got what he deserved”. He should have been tried and punished for that.

David Koresh was denied due process by the feds going all Judge Dredd on the Davidians and executing them on the spot.
The congressional hearings on Waco were a joke because they tried the Davidians to deflect the purpose of the hearings, which was to investigate the federal agent’s wrongdoings.
At least the Davidians were acquitted of murdering the ATF agents. Texas law allows citizens to defend themselves if law enforcement uses unnecessary deadly force on them.
The ATF rolled out of their trailers shooting, instead of properly serving the warrant. Koresh was always willing to cooperate with the local sheriff.
The feds could have picked Koresh up anytime he was out jogging or in town. The raid was just a show for the ATF to look good in the media, and it cost WAY too many innocent lives.
All we had then was Rush, and Billy Jeff tried like heck to take that!
If that ever happens in D.C. I hope some Congressional Aide gets it all on his iPhone and uploads it to youtube.
That would be like the greatest present anyone could every get me. Especially if they got video of Pelosi and Reid being tarred and feathered!
