Nothing less than a muzzle being the perfect tool of choice in order for Biden to emerge seemingly victoriously. As that is not practical, he's taken the second safest route in trying to look less the loquacious buffoon more like polished statesman that he's not.
Taking the lesson of the old joke; How do you get to Carnegie Hall? PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE!Biden is taking his practice very seriously.

Biden will be alright as long as he focuses on the three letter word jobs.
He’ll do better than obama, but Ryan will still clobber him.
Biden is going to try and be a bomb thrower from a distance.. Ryan is going to try and drag him into the weeds for a knife fight
"He (Obama) has done more for Israels security than any President since Harry Truman.." ~Joe Biden, July 24, 2012
Biden was competent against Palin in 2008. There’s no reason to assume he won’t this time... but I’ll be watching anyway, just on case. =^)
Gee, uh....... thanks. Great picture. Very funny, clever. Thanks for posting. Probably would’ve missed it had you not taking the time and consideration to share.
If Paul Ryan has any worries at all(I know he doesn’t)his opening statement should finish with
” Tell me Joe, what were thinking posing with that biker chick in your lap?”
Joey won’t recognize his children for the next hour.
I saw the photo this morning...read the headline on the forum page...went and grabbed it.......and lordy lordy..it was already posted.
Many people will be tuning in tomorrow night to watch Joe Biden’s debate performance in the same spirit many tune in to watch the Indianapolis 500 — expecting to see a memorable crash.
Joe has been studying all week to avoid such an eventuality. Which means his performance is likely to be overprogrammed and dull. He’ll already be at a disadvantage in the visuals as he’ll be 70 years old next month, well past retirement age, while his opponent Paul Ryan is 42 and in the prime of life.
Joe will either look like a good candidate for the glue factory tomorrow night, or else he’ll do a good enough job to make Obama’s dismal performance last week look all the worse by comparison. In either case, not what the Democrats need.
He has to win the debate without ruininig the ‘stepin-fetchit’ role he plays for Obama.
I don’t think he can do it, or win in any way.
But I’m sure gonna watch him and the moderator try to do it.
I look for a lot- a whole lot- of condescension from Joe and Martha.
“Stand up, Chuck.....”
But I had to make an even bigger fool of myself exacerbating my embarrassment by needling you about what I thought was your extraneous comment but you very cleverly, I might even say diabolically (with a grin) did a fantastic job of setting me up providing me with enough rope to bungee jump the Hoover Dam.
So, A thousand apologies for my sardonic, sarcastic absolutely undeserved remarks, hopefully for me lesson learned, and finally kudos for luring me in so cooly, professionally

I wouldnt sell biden short. He’s been in the business for some time unlike O. I suspect he’ll do a passable job, then the libs will deem it a great victry for O.
"I've been "punked" so many times I see most of the world between furry covering fingers"
You don't fool me for a second. Ha ha .You're the Rope-A-Dope Master, could teach Muhammad Ali more than a few things or two on the subject.
But nice try, very nice try.
Biden will try not to go negative right away but, mark my words,he WILL go NEGATIVE. The more negative Biden gets, the more Ryan will shine.
My thoughts and prayers will be with Paul Ryan.
