LOS ANGELES Four years ago, Lindsay Lohan referred to Obama's Presidential victory as "amazing," but cut to 2012, and it seems the "Mean Girls" star has had a serious change of heart.
"I think unemployment is very important for now, so as of now I think (my vote) is Mitt Romney," Lohan told reporters, including FOX411's Pop Tarts, at the Mr. Pink Ginseng Drink Launch Party Los Angeles on Thursday night.

“Lohan is a low information voter convinced that (a) employment is really important, (b) thinks that employment is not being sufficiently handled by the White House right now and (c) thinks that Mitt Romney is better equipped to handle employment.” I have to admit that my first reaction was the same as many others here, but the article you have cited makes some very good points. I think Linsay’s endorsement actually is important because of what it represents.

Maybe I’m wrong and like Brittney Spears she won’t be joining the “Dead Before 30” club after all.
To: xp38
The issue is not Lohan herself, but the fact that 0bama has lost her.
Context is everything.

I see a new slogan.

Obama get the Hugo socialist vote and Mitt gets Lohan’s. For all her faults, Lohan is willing to buck the Hollywood libs and every vote for Mitt helps.

Thanks for linking.
It was “low information voters” who elected the Train Wreck In Chief; and if they turn on him for the same vacuous reasons, I won’t complain.
I still don’t like the indisputable fact that they are poorly informed, and often suffering from cognitive dissonance leading to totally incoherent and illogical reasons for voting the way they do; but I won’t complain that they are deserting Obama, whether by voting for Mitt or just staying home.
It is a candidate’s job to somehow connect with them, too. McLame couldn’t, any more than Dole could; let’s hope that Romney does continue to.

Yep and while not completely losing Amber Lee Ettinger (the girl in the Obama girl video) the following from wiki is interesting.
As the 2012 election approached, news organizations mentioned and interviewed Ettinger as a barometer of whether Obama would be re-elected. More than a year before the 2012 election, CNN Newsroom's Brooke Baldwin had remarked, jokingly, that "obviously, the Obama girl is the litmus test for who will win in 2012."[17] In 2012, Ettinger declined to state who she was supporting for President.[18] Sean Hannity interviewed Ettinger on Fox News Channel's Hannity about her level of support for Obama; Ettinger explained that her 2007 Crush on Obama video "encompassed what a lot of Americans were feeling the excitement for hope and change" and that now (June 2012) she hadn't given up on Obama, but added that her options (for voting in November 2012) were open.[13] In a Fox News Channel opinion piece, J.D. Gordon used Ettinger's indecision in 2012 as a specific example of Obama's waning support.[19]

2008 was the 'Year of the "I'm cool enough to vote for the black guy" voter.'
2012 is going to be the 'Year of the "I'm smart enough not to do that shit again." Voter.'
