Longtime Democratic Strategist Bob Beckel says if Gallup numbers are accurate "this election is over" on Fox News' afternoon show "The Five"
I’m not near a TV to watch, so thanks for the post. Interesting. I wonder if Gallup is fudging the numbers, on purpose? To get the Dem’s out to vote? I’d like to believe it’s the truth, but I don’t know.
Obama was begging for votes in OH today.
Is Beckel still paying prostitutes by personal check? That told me all I needed to know that the guy is an idiot.
Bob Beckel has echoed my call.
Bob - the election is over because no one wants Obama.
And nothing is going to turn it around for him. A guy named John Sidney McCain can tell you what its like to be behind on Oct. 18th.

I don’t trust Gallup much. I’d prefer to see Rasmussen validate their poll with like numbers. Ras does show a small Romney lead.
I still am wary of the “post debate bounce” meme and fear we will be hit with it in the next few days.
It’s been over since the day they rammed socialized medicine down our throats three years ago.
Beckel is not his usual spunky self. I have a feeling he knows enough people to get the internals of campaign polling, and he knew this was coming.
I think depressing voters will make them more likely to stay home rather than go out and vote.
It’s interesting that Rassmussen and Gallup have such a gap between them now. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, but at least it’s showing momentum for Romney in any case.
We and Romney/Ryan shouldn’t believe the polls, especially Gallup, keep working, never let up.
I think if they were doing that, they’d have Romney up 1 or 2, not 7...that would be more likely to make Obamaites stay home in despair.
Maybe a “comeback” narrative...but it is getting a little late in the day for that as well.
If that works like it did in 2008 when Barry was the new flavor of the week, it would suppress their voter turnout. That’s what it did for our side that year.
Gallup predicted the winning candidate’s vote margin in 2008.
Its the same year except I think Romney will perform better than the numbers show.

I live in the western burbs of Minneapolis. Last election the hussein signs were everywhere. I haven’t seen a single one this time. It’s a very good indication. IMHO.

I’m still working like we’re behind. People are making calls into swing states if their state is safe or they have no chance in their state.
I cannot watch Bob Beckel. he makes me want to puke, and the 5 comes on right around dinnertime.
