I look upon an increase of the power of the state with the greatest fear, because although while apparently doing good by minimizing exploitation, it does the greatest harm to mankind by destroying individuality, which lies at the root of all progress.

Sorry I need to post this again.....Succinct and immediately relevant.
anyone know how to spam e-mail?
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
-C. S. Lewis
That's a good way to have someone report Abuse on this thread. We don't do spam.
I personally, want to see an increase in the power of the STATES, while seeing a decline in the power of the feds..
This definition of state appears generic....not “states” “the state”
If someone can write something ...just one thing in which the truth BURNS...in an era “ probably short lived” when the thing can be dispersed across the world...this one thing may CHANGE the world...
At least its an entertaining consideration.
I understand that...
just a little play on words....
