Here is my opinion (if you can call it that). I keep an eye on the DUmmies. They have been rantin & ravin about “ohhh they’re going to steal the election!” You know what they say about guilty dogs barking the loudest? (Mea culpa to my fine furry friends!) + all this dystopian bs about not wanting to have voter ID. Do I think THEY are going to steal the election? Duh. (Al Franken, for one)
If this information puts people on their toes & motivates them to vote, works for me!
It is much harder to cheat if the vote is overwhelmingly lopsided.

Wow. I just let my husband copy my ballot. He scanned it to email to our son who is away at college. Daughter is coming home this week to do hers (with my help. Absentee voting at its finest. (Insert evil laugh?).
Point of order: WCPO-TV is an ABC affliate in Cincinnati.
The ABC affiliate in Cleveland is WEWS-TV.
Both are owned by Scripps-Howard broadcasting, one of the mostwid3ly respected broadcast group owners in the country.

One of the most effective things anyone can do in their area is to be a poll watcher. They are desperately needed. Just go to the party HQ and volunteer for it. They will train you and be glad of your help. You will be most effective in heavily Obama districts. It is harder for them to cheat when poll watchers are there.
I have done it for a couple of elections, and it is not hard but it takes a little fortitude. It is something that you can do, and it is very, very effective. If you are serious about turning this country around, take election day off and be a poll watcher.

They’re called test pages, you prehook up something to make sure all your links in and out work. By now the “news” should be smart enough to make the test page all fake, you know declare Dumbo the winner, but by the same token the audience should be smart enough to know better.
They’re testing the links, the formatting, the overall stability of the page. Anytime you know ahead of time you’ll be putting up a high profile page you throw a dummy version up on the live server first to make sure it all works happy on the live server. The nice part about the internet is that until you link to the page it’s just there, so you can do whatever you want. The bad part about the internet is people can find you test pages by doing directory listings and looking for pages you haven’t linked to yet.
Most of those football pages are a good 4 minutes behind the actual game. And I’ve seen them not work, just a couple of weeks ago ESPN during the SNF game got weird and insisted a field goal had been a two point conversion. And it stayed stuck that way for a while.
