But it was very well done, IMO.

I would not really suggest it for a first K-drama though it would be near the top. Yeah, the plot is kind of weird.

She was also in “Damo” as a swordswoman and it looked like they were doing scenes for it when she played a stuntwoman in ‘Secret Garden’ (always cool when they do nods to other shows like that) .. near the end of the series she gets a script for a movie... it was “Sector 7”, a movie she really made, heh.

When I was a kid the library in DeFuniak Springs had a huge collection of armor and weapons from Scotland.

I can recall thinking they must have been incredibly strong as the swords were huge.

Of course I now realize they were Claymores. Still I wonder just how difficult it must have been wielding one of those even with two hands.

WHAT an idiot. Learn from Ha Ji-Won, she knows the sword is for after you run out of ammo!!

While that outfit looks great on her, it doesn't allow for any pouches for more magazines. :)

Surely the best was Samurai haberdasher.

Wasn't that the episode with Buck Henry, and Belushi accidentally hit Henry in the head with his sword, giving him a pretty nasty cut on his fore-head? As I recall, the next sketch with Buck had him wearing a band-aid on his forehead, and by the end of the show, the entire cast was wearing band-aids on their foreheads.

I guess that explains the sword... granted her character did just hop (forward flip) off a motorcycle. heh, although not very realistically for an actress who likes (liked?) doing her own stunts.

Having seen quite a bit of genuine armor displays it’s amazing, but when you think about it, life in general was much more physically demanding than today.

Ban Assault Swords now!

Sadly, my swords were recently lost in a boating accident at Crater Lake.

I wish I had time to watch stuff like that. I think it’s on Hulu so maybe I might try and see a bit.

My weapon of choice when I rob the Church’s chicken is a either a Ninja star or nunchucks.
