Effect of Hurricane on election. Thoughts?

Fox News is saying this will be a huge s**tstorm, and has the potential of knocking out power for 7-10 days depending on the severity, and I would imagine knock out power to voting machines (or zap them to vote all of Obama :-) j/k) I was also reading an article on Politico which emphasized the effect on "suppressing" early voting (yay!!!), but also put Obama in the light of being "the hero" in responding to a major emergency (to make up for Benghazi)? Speaking of which, the storm might also take the coverup out of the headlines and ppuch it to the second page.

What does everyone else think? (an no, I am not a dhimmicrat troll!)

By the way, one of the big reasons people did not evacuate new orleans was it was too close to the first of the month. They either didn’t have any money or they weren’t going to take a chance on missing their check.

Yes it would, they could claim a blowout for Romney in the Northeast was caused by the storm and could make a very effective case for a “re-vote” to the american people which would be ran with rampant fraud....

Having been through many hurricanes with days without power, I can tell you for sure that storm victims rarely have anything good to say about the current gov’t.

People are miserable, stressed, & have little patience for BS politicians. If Obama goes into bragging mode about helping the people w/o power while many are still w/o power, then he will make a lot of enemies.

I do not see how Obama can possibly profit politically from the storm. There just is no good that can accrue to anyone so close to the election. If that storm makes landfall on Tuesday, by election day the victims will be at the height of their misery. Federal assistance will take AT LEAST a week to even get started, & they rarely have any impact on power restoration. Standing in long lines for ice, MREs, & water will NOT persuade anyone to vote for Obama.

All in all, Obama has everything to lose from the storm, with little to gain. A poor response from him will doom his reelection, while even a Herculean effort from him will get little appreciation.

First ... "if" the hurricane strikes the East Coast mega-metropolitan areas hard ...

and then moves north-west up into New England ...

then local Voter Turn-Out may be suppressed, certainly amonst Obama's Inner-City Mostly Welfare Black and Hispanic "people" (as Eric Holder calls them) ...

as well as the liberal-indoctrinated "educated" Teacher Union Anarchist 99-Percent loons ...



But strategically ... the hurricane is a political disaster for Obama's Moslem Government-in-Occupation ...

Because the rest of America ... especially the undecided voters in Fly-Over Country ...

Since when has Obama been concerned about anything beyond getting reelected? I fully expect him to delegate responsibility of dealing with the storm damage to some bureaucrat who gives even less of a damn than Obama. Add in gross incompetence, political correctness, & laziness, giving a poor response, at best.

Obama is not a doer, he's a talker. The last thing storm victims will want to here is empty promises. The last thing Obama will do is improve the situation.

Things get deadly serious in the cold & dark. Big Bird & birth control quickly lose their importance. Obama’s pretty talk will be a big turnoff to the victims.
