I remember being there 14 years ago when we went to adopt our daughter, and how I just closed my eyes and prayed very hard while the driver swerved, darted, turned, braked, etc. Roads were awful, drivers worse. GTA is a perfect description IMHO.

Mexicans are famous in the Houston area for moving debris and objects in their trunks, on their roof tops and truck beds, totally unsecured. So you have to be careful to keep extra distance from them so as they unload their cargo on the highway, it won’t fly through your windshield.
We had one dump a huge lounge chair on the highway in front of us. My husband puts those Russian drivers to shame in his ability to dodge Mexican stuff in the highway. Before the lounge chair came flying out off the roof top my husband said, “that guy’s going to unload that chair!” Seconds later - boom! :)
They will also pull over and attempt to retrive their spilt cargo (unless it is trash) in the middle of high speed expressway traffic. It’s part of the thrill we have had in Texas life. The Northerners would have a heart attack. :)
Vodka. That’s the only possible explanation for this level of stupidosity.
