Depends on whether conservatives can get their act together. If they can’t then America as a whole will fall.
Breaking it apart will only accelerate the process.
They’d sure have to weigh the “freedom to prosper” vs the “security” offered by a fascist state.
Scotland is doing it . The Scottish people will vote for independence from Britain in 2014. Georgia and other soviet Republics voted for independence from the soviet union etc.
How can they deny us the right to vote for our independence and freedom?
Why is Beck against this? My thoughts is Beck is all about making money and who knows what he really believes . He might be a democrat for all we know.

Signing a petition may or may not be ridiculous. Opinions may vary. Secession is not ridiculous. If Hitler jr. was elected President would be zieg hieling or seceding?
It would be a lot easier to “up and move to this new country” than it would be to “up and move to a new continent”, and they’re already doing that in droves.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m 62, so if I’m around when this happens, we’ll get to talk about it...but I seriously doubt I will see it in my lifetime.
Again, easy. Without the federal regulations, Texas unleashed would produce hundreds of thousands of jobs.
Companies who meet principled standards would be allowed to move to business friendly Texas. Without the social hand outs that currently exist, self deportation of the takers would happen. You cut off the free cheese and the takers get to work, or go elsewhere.
As far as the state getting flooded with folks moving here in droves...just have immigration laws like NZ or AUS....you have to prove to be self sufficient (wealth, business, skill) in order to move here.
Beck sees any breakup as interfering with his making money as no doubt a breakup would result in hostilities and perhaps the end of his shows. It is about money to him.
Companies in those states will no longer have to send deduction from paychecks to Washington.
They no longer have to send highway funds to Washington and wait for refunds.
They will no longer be under the thumb of the centralized government to restrict drilling.
They no longer be under centralized government interference in education.
Taxpayers won’t be sending tax dollars to the centralized government, the stay in the states.
Gas taxes will stay in states.
I’m probably not covering all the options but the principle is...STARVING THE BEAST.

1. Taxation at 55%, federal, State, and local.
2. Supreme Court said the government can take my property at any time just to sell it for profit or more taxes from someone else.
3. Supreme Court said the government can force me to buy thing or not buy things.
4. Supreme Court said I have no control over my life through medical services, that the government can make my decisions for me.
5. My politicians buy votes with my taxes.
6. Supreme Court said the government can curtail my right to free speech.
7. Government can take me away for any reason for any length of time. All they need to say is that I am an “Enemy Combatant”.
I could go on and on, but you know the drill.

just be quiet. Go sell some more books, magazines, web ads, or commercials. Make some clothes to sell. Hell, create a rival tea company.

He keeps going on about the government getting your info. Just what does he think they will do to all of us? I’m a law abiding, tax paying citizen. I’ll be damned if I’m going to be scared of the government. This is NOT North Korea. And if we really have to fear our government to that degree, then we have a huge problem, and in that case secession would become a legitimate argument.
Anyone signing such petition should not be surprised if they lose, or have denied any security clearance.
