Silent Coup?

Bear with me folks, I'm not a conspiracy nut but there has been a series of unusual happenings in the senior military officer staff.

Supposition: If you were a senior military commander and seriously concerned with the direction of the country; with upcoming presidential elections, how could you ensure the current administration loses?

First, Find like minded senior officers I knew well and respected. Meet with them and devise a plan.

Second, I would find information so damaging to the current President that he could not possibly be re-elected.

Third, I would confront him with the information and demand he throw the election (not resign or we would have President Biden)

To accomplish this I would need the help of the CIA....Oh looky there, a recent appointee and former General....

Ya'll can see were this is leading, we just lost three high ranking Generals, one the recent head of the CIA. They are General Allen, Petraus and Ham.

We watched Obama literally throw the first debate like a bought fighter in Atlantic City....Why? It wasn't altitude....

Then, perhaps Obama gained an upper hand. Information damaging to the conspirators.

We now have FBI Agents combing over homes for secret documents. We have outright character assasination of the Generals.....

Throw in Bengazi and we have a great novel in the making.....

Corruption and dereliction is live and well. Too many ways to block a coup for it to succeed. Except election fraud.

He’s definitely a figurehead or puppet. I doubt that he could even operate a coupe let alone a coup.

Too many of the Brass are political animals and unable to be able to forge a concerted effort by working with each other.

I agree that it’s something more than “mere” incompetence.

BTW, according to a seemingly knowledgeable poster here, the prisoners were not just Libyans, but included some Iranians. This makes me wonder how many prisoners there were in total...but aside from that, I suspect that Obama had agreed with Ahmadinejad to spring his people (who I hope did not include the kidnapped nuclear scientists).

Obama wouldn’t be so upset about incompetence, because everybody already knows he’s a boob and nobody cares. There’s something else he’s trying to keep under wraps.

Good evening. Welcome to FR.

Too many checks and balances in US.
Won’t happen.

The Founders thought different. That's why we have the 2nd amendment.

I don’t think the US generals had gotten to the point of “coup” yet, and I don’t think they ever would or had even thought of it. However, the fact that several of them were obviously concerned enough about what was going on at Benghazi to “criticize” him indirectly by wanting to rescue our forces was probably enough in his mind to brand them as disloyal - to him, since he’s the only thing that counts in this country anymore.

I think they were intentionally removed, all in ways that impugned their character (spending too much money, having an affair, etc.) in order to make them less credible. I guess that’s better than being shot, though.

The people I think should watch their backs are Broadwell and her father. I think Obama has threatened Petraeus do much that even though Petraeus called his bluff with his resignation (but too late, alas), he probably will be like a lamb in his “testimony.” But Broadwell seems to be beyond his reach.

Watch for her to go to jail and possibly even be tried for treason for the “many classified documents” she had on her computer (she has a very high security clearance, btw). I think she’s going to be the scapegoat, because the generals, gentlemen that they are, are going to knuckle under to Obama.

OBL probably really is dead because by that time he was sick and of little use to Al Qaeda and seems to have spent his days viewing porn in his lair, in between dialysis treatments.

Relatively speaking, there wasn’t a lot of hysteria among the jihadis when he disappeared from the scene.

The dark side is that they all sat there and watch the murders, did nothing and then the supposed CIC got up and went to bed without a concern in the world. They wanted someone in Benghazi dead and watched while it happened to make sure that someone was dead. Question is, why?

“Right now all that’s happening in the US Military is the weeding out of the few troglodytes left with qualms about Posse Commitas....”

Just who are they going to get to occupy our cities? There aren’t enough combat troops to do it, especially if things get hostile, and they will. How many troopers will stand fast when they hear that their Mom and Dad in Indianapolis have been put into a FEMA camp by the DHS? How will race relations in the military be when the inner city rioters start getting capped? It will go to hell in a hand-basket because the American People (leaving out several million immigrants) were not born Serfs and a great number of them are rebellious as Hell and quite dangerous when aroused. Plus we’re generally a whole lot smarter and more inventive than the populace in A-Stan.

Why would she have classified docs?

Dollars to donuts they were planted evidence.

This is how the commies do a “Night of the Long Knives” in 2012. They are removing top officers and installing their own henchmen.

Not all but some...it would explain a series of unconnected dots....especially if the CIA unearthed some damaging information on Obama....

Only speculation but what if it was uncovered that the Chinese funded Obama’s college tuition and was Chinese intelligence was involved in Obama’s rise to power?

Substitute Saudi for Chinese or Russian.....

Think Petraus would not act on that info....other Generals?

This is all speculation but there is something very wierd going on....

Not necessarily....maybe Petraeus had info on Obama that he needed to stash...

maybe that’s what they are looking for...

A typical coup is against those in power. If those already in power conspire to take absolute control they could. I see that happening quietly.
