No spoilers? Do you know what a spoiler is? Telling us that Bond gets shot and is presumed dead is a spoiler.

It was a great movie, and Craig is the best of the Bonds. This rant is simply prejudicial b/c it’s not “Goldfinger” or some other Bond movie that doesn’t have Connery or the execrable Moore.

Up until they went to Skyfall it was a great movie

it slowed down a bit after that but picked up again at the end

It takes place in the first 10 minutes of the movie and is in all of the trailers, you are being silly.

It still had to be better the the Bourne Legacy.

For the love of all that is holy, if you want to write your own script then do so. Do not use the title of a major book series and then toss out the plot.

It’s a Bond movie for crying out loud.

You go to sit in a theater for a little while, see an occassional exotic location, a hot broad, a wierd bad guy, an action packed chase scene or two, a couple of big explosions and a guy that acts kinda cool and has a license to kill.

That’s it. If you are looking for anything more, anything deeper, then why are you bothering to see a Bond movie at all?

My thoughts exactly. If you want a good story, go read Jane Austen. FWIW, my second favorite bond was Timothy Dalton. Bond stopped being a tongue in cheek cartoon character with his version. My favorite is Craig. He’s much more true to the “blunt instrument” of the novels. He even has the audacity to leave that gorgeous woman in Casino Royal before consummating the relationship because duty called. Now, THAT’s dedication.

All action movies and TV series are Bourne Lite these days.

And vice versa.

Nope. It’s in the trailers. Heck, I knew that and I don’t even have TV.

I just watched it last night (Russian internet copy)

There were many places in the movie where I wondered why Bond did this or that and how did the antagonist do this or that.

It was like watching a Borne movie or maybe “Shooter”.

I thought in a few scenes Daniel Craig/Bond looked like Peter Townshend of the Who.

Telling us that Bond gets shot and is presumed dead is a spoiler.

Since it happened in the first 5 minutes of the film, it's not really a spoiler. If he got shot and died, the movie is over.

You get the same thing from the movie trailer so it’s not really a spoiler.

I believe the desktop copier was introduced to the world in the 1969 bond film: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Did I win?

I put Craig and Connery even , followed by Lazenby and Brosnan in last..

I would love to see the plotline put forth here where 007 saves the USA ... Thunderball came out very near the time we lost a nuke in the Med... and Goldfinger was plausible ... I just want to build my own autogyro like “little nellie” ...

I enjoyed reading your obit. Very interesting.

I saw “Skyfall” this morning. Overall, I thought it was good.

The scene atop the train in Turkey did not convince me one bit. The laws of gravity would say that neither man would be able to be standing on top of it at the speed that it was going — let alone engaged in a fist-fight — and how fortunate of James that he was shot as the train was passing a river below! He fell in the river and not in gravel , which was helpful in keeping him alive.

I love Bardem — but the peroxide job on his hair and eyebrows was terrible.

I was not impressed with the Bond girls this time around — where is the next Barbara Carrera or Ursula Andress?

I enjoyed the dry humor of the young Quartermaster kid — he reminded me of one of the guys from the boy group One Direction.

Overall, I liked it. I love Craig.

While I was suspecting it could be awful, your review saddens me.

I’ll let you know what I think after I pirate download that sumbitch.
