It's Rick Santorum Turn: Rick Is asking Texans for Donations
The stuff between my ears | 11/21/2012 | Myself

Posted on 11/20/2012 2:42:39 PM PST by klimeckg

Well, it didn't take long, I just received a call from a Rick Santorum donation Pac. "Are upset by the election results?...So am I...blahh blah , blah.... with Your CASH, We can stop Obama..... we can make history....." Uhh, wasn't that have suppose to happen TWO WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!! (that was a scream from the roof top). I read another Freerers thread mentioning how the GOP seems to hand out "POTUS Turns" to these guys. It was Bushs turn, then McCain, Then Romney, what now, Santorum? COME ON MAN!! I AM THROUGH WITH GOP!! The next person up for 2016 is gonna have to be an outside the beltaway Plumbers crack simpleton who can do a better job than any of these BOZOS! The best thing these men can do is throw there money at defeating their own GOP washington elites that hold conservatism hostage. This election exposed them for what they are, FOOLS. Fool me once (2008) Shame on you, Fool me twice (2012) shame on ME. The Republican party has HUGE problem on their hands because the 2012 general election just cost them 49.4 % of the votes!!! Hey Rick, Hey Jeb, Hey Marco, Hey Krispy Kreme, GOOD luck trying. Don't waste your time, it aint YOU! (Pissed off, YA THINK!)

You may be correct but that does not mean she would be a strong candidate against the RAT. We know their MO—they lie, they deceive, they attack, and they cheat. I no longer believe issues are all that important but unfortunately, I don’t know what is important. Personally, I believe Palin would be a very weak candidate but I also admit I do not know one way or the other. The only two things I do know is that we must all hang together and we must do something about fraud.

We aren’t buying your rino pitch, we heard it enough when you were pushing Romney, I dread to think who you look forward to now.

I don’t like how Republican candidates are willing to take out the long knives against fellow Republicans in a primry but then put them away in the general election. I want to see Democrats decapitated.

ansel, there is no need to start the name calling. First, I am not a RINO, I am a very conservative Republican who happens to look at the goal of defeating Democrats. I want the most conservative person I can get elected.

Was I pushing Romney in the general? You darned betcha as Romney was light years ahead of Obama.

I did not support Romney in the caucus but I admit he turned into a better candidate than I expected him to be.

You can call me all the names you want but I speak the truth and I speak reality when I say we MUST hang together in the general election. If you know another way to defeat the RAT, I'm more than willing to listen but I see far too many here on FR who are shooting from the hip without stopping to think about long-term consequences.

He won’t make it. He will get eaten alive in the primary. Conservatives need to stand up and demand a tougher candidate.

Having lived in Central Iowa from age 14 until I was 42 (with time out for the Army) I have participated in presidential politics and party fundraising. Enthusiasm beats almost everything else. One must have a serious, viable candidate, of course, which is why all the Ron Paul and Howard Dean enthusiasm went nowhere. There are already organizations set-up and purpose-built to support former Gov. Sarah Palin in a presidential race. Can the same be said for former Senator Rick Santorum, former Governor Jeb Bush or the other likely 2016 candidates?

Could it be that our Republican politicians continue to lie and continue the way toward collapse of our economy? Nah, they are so much better than the Democrats! After all, it will take many more years before America collapses with the Republicans. Hey, we have a majority in the House so I’d expect that they would hold the fort against the destruction of our economy. Dream on!

Really, do you actually think that the Republicans are doing anything that perpetuates the U.S. Constitution? After all, they were only elected to uphold the same - not like they should actually care or anything...

It will take another party or a MAJOR change to prevent the destruction of this Country.

It’s going to be Rubio next time. He has the charisma and he has the diversity that the Republican establishment wants to put forward. Whatever happens with repubs, the dems will likely one up the Repubs by putting both a black and Hispanic or, more likely, a woman and a Hispanic on their ticket. My prediction is that there will be Hispanics on both tickets. Demography is destiny.

Whew [where?] were the 6.6 million that didn’t vote?

Romney will end up with more votes than McCain. Those 6.6M missing voters are white voters who voted for Obama in 2008.

I’ve read enough of your rino pleadings to last me a life time, even now, after Romney’s embarrassing loss to Carter II, you make the same plea to be moderate, to avoid the conservative Palin, to support the ticket no matter who it is.

I dread to think of who you guys are going to come up with next time.

Just great! All we need is a Hispanic running on the Republican ticket and we have a win! What the hell are you thinking anyway! Either the Republican Party gets with the conservative issues or they and their party are gone anyway.

I’m so sick and tired of racial politics!!

And Reagan was once a Democrat and helped usher in the new age of no-fault divorce.

So, are we keeping score on past foibles now?

Santorum was miles more conservative than just about any of the other Republican candidates this year. He has been courageous enough to speak the truth about homosexuality in the face of the most vile homo-Nazi thugs.

That earns major points in my book.

You are right! I am also done with the Republican Party! These so called conservatives can go try their fake wares on other folks. They have nothing more to offer.

Romney should have had 5 or 10 million more votes than McCain, against the second term of Carter.

McCain didn’t stand a chance against 2 terms of Bush, war exhaustion, history, recession, and the first black president, Romney couldn’t lose if they tried against Carter’s second term, yet they did, pathetically.

Yeah Captain Reagan last voted for a democrat president in the WWII era, he was California governor in the 1960s era, the pre-Carter, pre-Reagan revolution America, a revolution that Santorum backed the anti-Reagan rinos in.

You want to call Santorum being active in republican politics and despising Reagan and his conservatism decades later, what? What do you want to call that?

Why did you ignore the more relevant comparisons with his man Romney, and Santorum wanting to remove life from the party platform in 1996 when he wanted Spector to become president?

In case anybody didn’t notice, Santorum wasn’t supported by the GOPe idiots. In fact they pulled a few stunts with the primary results to keep him from besting their boy early on. Also, he won states that actual GOP candidates would win in November.
