omeone has finally removed Justin Bieber from his YouTube throne. South Korean rapper PSY and his hugely popular Gangnam Style video officially surpassed Justin Bieber’s Baby over the Thanksgiving weekend, notes YouTube’s Trends blog. As of Sunday morning, Gangnam Style had more than 815 million views while Baby was a few hundred thousand short of 805 million.

Bieber’s video has been at the top since July 2010 and remains hugely popular with as many as 500,000 views a day. Yet that’s nothing compared with how quickly PSY’s video rose to the top. Lots of searches for the video were first detected in South Korea in late July until it peaked in September in North America and Brazil. Now the video is watched somewhere between 7 and 10 million times a day, according to YouTube.

I find this “song” to be very annoying. I’ve never heard of the Justin song... The video I like (at the moment) is Rock Party Anthem.

RAOTFLMAO, I think Laz could do a much better version, especially of the dance number, but being so close to temptation would overwhelm him, poor man.
Next, he’d break out in hives.

It’s a fun catchy song. I’m not going to go all hipster and say it sucks just because it is popular.

And as song that isn’t singing about bitches and hoes or about shooting up someplace, it is nice to see something like this outshine all of the junk that we usually get from our country.

Three of my grandsons had a fine time dancing to this on Thanksgiving. Considering, they’re 4,5 and 9 they did quite a good job. My husband and I had never seen this video.

The first time I heard this very irritating tune I thought it was a Punjabi form of psychological warfare.
