Rising acidity is eating away the shells of tiny snails, known as “sea butterflies”, that live in the seas around Antarctica, leaving them vulnerable to predators and disease, scientists said Sunday.

...and even if it weren’t...some life forms come and go...
It’s a good thing the increase in CO2 isn’t from human activity. Think of it. They they would blame increased ocean CO2 on burning fossil fuel or something. Whew! That was close!
Remember just before cars came along and they were worried the big cities would be buried in horsesh!+?
Of course we have no idea if this is totally normal and has occurred untold numbers of times before, but let’s presume that it isn’t because that fits our enviro-misanthropic agenda.

Bogus. The rising sea level due to the melting of the polar ice caps should be plenty to absorb any excess CO2. /S

If a sea butterfly loses its shell on the Antarctic seafloor a hurricane will happen in Jersey and Satan’s son is reelected POTUS and we all die horrible deaths....really horrible deaths...REALLY HORRIBLE DEATHS...
Wow, what a coincidence that a study is done on an Antarctic creature to determine if global warming is affecting it and guess what... GLOBAL WARMING IS KILLING IT!!!

Shh... That is the dirty little secrete no one is supposed to know. Most skeletal structure requires carbon, which can enter the oceans from dissolved CO2.
I don’t buy it a bit. The amount of acidification that a few one hundred-thousandths of a percent of CO2 would cause is so small as to be immeasurable.
I don’t buy it either. Sea water has a pH of between 7.5 and 8.4. That’s basic, not acidic. There’s nothing to this, but it keeps coming back again and again.
Bet the seas, especially locally, have been all over the place in terms of pH, with underwater volcanos and shifting plates.
The world can be dangerous for any life form sometimes. Most that once lived have died and turned into hydrocarbons for us to put in our SUVs.
OK Everybody on the count of three everyone hold their breath for 20 seconds!!! That will save them!!!
