If anyone worried that Kathryn Bigelows movie about the killing of Osama bin Laden would be a political statement promoting Barack Obama they can relax. Bigelow and Mark Boal have made a very focused and harrowing thriller that centers on the real life female CIA agent who was obsessed with catching and killing bin Laden.
In truth CIA has a group of "targeters", many of them woman who assemble intelligence for raids or drone strikes on high value terrorist leaders
It’s still going to be heavily fictionalized
“Obama is almost completely absent from the film”
not good enough, I want Buttcrack to be completely absent.
Keeps Al Quaeda from placing the appropriate blame.
Funny that they left the Narcissist out of the picture.
Is that the National Geographic one? If so, I saw a few minutes of the beginning and obam was seen off tv as very concerned...blah, blah, blah. I turned it off so I wouldn’t puke. Maybe the person who did the review didn’t think it was political, but I certainly did.
“President Obama makes a brief appearance seen off a TV and its not necessarily positive. While American intelligence is water boarding prisoners, Obama is seen saying he doesnt believe in torture.”
Close...Odumbo is still in it but briefly according to the article.
There have been the occasional article about this woman over the last few years here on FR.
She’s a good agent.
I know how you felt. We post-production guys talk to each other even though we’re all rivals but I know the guys who did the post-editing of that wretched propaganda piece. They too wanted to puke, believe it or not but they’re professionals.
The Seal on the mission who wrote “No Easy Day” mentions her two or three times.
No the National Geographic one is a different movie. Its more like made for TV, Zero Dark Thirty looks pretty cool.
BOYCOTT HOLLYWOOD!!! Do NOT give them your dollars. They later use them to call conservatives horrid names and donate to anti-American politicians. DON’T let them manipulate you. They occasionally put out movies that appeal to middle America but only to generate dollars to use against the American way of life.
Some of these woman are real cleaver on how to extract info
from terrorist POS
Remember hearing on one case at Gitmo - one female interrogater splashed read ink on one hard case
Told him it was menstural blood and was now “unclean” and would not be about to pray as required by Koran
Guy freaked and spilled his guts.......
I feel bad for them but they have to work for a living unless they are part of the 47%
Thanks. I might watch this one.
After Bengazi a film that suggested Obama was worshipped by SEALS would have risked looking totally idiotic. What if after 10 years the full truth came out showing he didn’t lift one finger to help them? It would be a disaster for the film makers.
Originally it was supposed to air right before the election —obviously they were scared to death and decided to play it safe by totally changing to content and release date.
We don’t have to wait ten years to find out he didn’t life a finger to help them. We already know that he didn’t life a finger to help them.

Having read “No Easy Day” (great book, BTW), I’m interested to see how they twist his reality for the Obamunist hisself.
What I really want to know is why Bigelow clearly had access to inside information and nobody said boo to a goose, but “Mark Owen” was practically hung for treason by the MSM and the other administration flaks for exposing secrets in his book?
