Move over Charlie Sheen. Another “Two and a Half Men” controversy is exploding.

Angus T. Jones, who has played the role of Jake Harper on the hit CBS show since 2003 and reportedly earns $350,000 an episode, is featured in a new video for the Forerunner Christian Church, in which he calls the sitcom “filth” that contradicts his devout Christian values.

That’s not all. The 19-year-old actor even urges fans to stop watching.

Well, good for him.
And he is right, the show is disgusting, plus not funny (well, don’t know about that today. When it started I think I saw two episodes and thought it would only get six weeks before cancelling)

I’m so out of it that I didn’t even know this show existed. Well bravo for him (and vastly more so for the Lord that saves him) — and the catty twitter remarks are so, so feeble. (He might well BE donating it all, but a Christian wouldn’t brag about that.)

Angus is correct. It was funny with Sheen but, ever since they fired Charlie Sheen and got Ashton Kutcher, the show is stupid, disgusting and not funny.

Good for Angus. He has grown up on that show and I am pleased that he hasn’t let it pervert his Christian values!!

I’ve only a couple of episodes and I wasn’t impressed with the series. Charlie Sheen came across to me as though he was just reciting learned lines and didn’t have any comedic timing.

When I heard that Ashton Kutcher had taken over and one of his first acts was to be fully nude on tv, I figured that would be it for tv.

He’s made his money and will probably be written out of the show. He’s no longer a 1/2 man.

I watched it a few times while overseas and it was the only English show on...Charlie Sheen came across as playing himself as he really is in real life.

I’ve read that this is a hoax and a publicity stunt. I wish he was sincere, but I have my doubts.

I watched a couple of episodes a few years ago and found most of the subject matter to be distasteful. I was flipping through channels a couple of weeks ago and watched five minutes of the current season - I couldn’t believe it! The crap they will allow on television these days?!?!? It’s no wonder our current generation is completely screwed up!

Why doesn’t he just quit?

He is right about the show, as well as crappy filth like Glee and New Normal and everything else in prime time.

Is he going to leave the show or continue to take their money? I would guess that he has plenty already.

Me neither. I found the show to be vulgar and disgusting.

I have never seen it, but before I can change the channel, the first 2 seconds have two someones in bed, or trash talking by a 10 or 12 yr old kid. That’s all I know.

Charlie Sheen (since replaced) played a character who hit it rich by penning a TV ad jingle. He is a slacker with the Midas touch who lives in a beach front home. His brother is divorced with a son and has no luck. The brother (and son) moved in to Sheen’s home. 2 1/2 men.

I noticed he attending the RNC in Miami. However, he’d have more credibility if he left the show. As it is now, it seems he is hardly on it. Wonder if he had a hand in that?
