I recently moved from London to Los Angeles. Despite the fact that LA is the undisputed worst place in the entire world, I've been trying super hard to like it. Mainly because I like being that guy who likes the thing everyone else hates just to annoy people (which reminds me, people I know in real life: I never really liked Skrillex or Twilight. You should've seen your faces though).

No, I haven’t been to the Improv specifically, but I’ve seen plenty of improv comedy in my day, including filmed footage from the Improv, and it’s not generally equivalent to scripted comedy in other forms, in terms of public demand. If it were, we’d have a glut of Improv shows on tv alongside the sitcoms, stand-up specials, and sketch comedy shows. Instead, we’ve had “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, and I don’t even know if that is on the air anymore, because I haven’t been interested enough to bother to check in a decade or more.

Where else? TEXAS!! Like (nearly) everyone else. And no, I didn’t bring California politics here...my conservative views fit in perfectly in Texas.

Sorry for my mistake, and thank you for the correction.

I tried to research my statement before opening my yammer, but I am having a problem with my computer. I couldn’t get into Google to check, so I stupidly ran with the misinformation anyway.

Thank you again.

There was a Mexican restaurant in London about 35 years ago. Being Texans and loving Tex-Mex we just had to try it out.

They were trying but they weren't even close. We got a big laugh out of it but we didn't laugh until we left.

In 1985, I found a Mexican restaurant in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and even though I had eaten shortly before, I just had to have a German taco. They did a pretty good job. Most of their customers seemed to be American servicemen from the nearby Army base.
