I’ve always wanted a pet crow.

When my cousin was in high school in California, he had a pet crow. It would follow him to school every morning then meet him when he came out at the end of the day. I think he had it for a couple years until one day it left. My cousin figures it finally found a mate

I also want an African Grey, but the language he would learn would make him “unsociable.”

We had a pet crow once.
They really can be taught to talk. He could say a few words like, ‘Hello Joe’, etc.

Had a red Austrailian Lorikeet who was a rescue pet. Found out why his elderly owner gave him away. Her teenage grandsons taught it a slew of 4 letter words. He had almost comedic timing with it sometimes. Once he waited until our cable guy, who was bending over in front of the tv, dropped a tool. The bird said “You stupid $hithead”. Another time I had him on the porch and a rather large woman was walking by our house. He waited until I was walking out the front door to check on him to scream “Hey, you stupid fat bi!ch!” She was not amuzed. All I could do was back very slowly into the house.

Love it when a flock land in the back yard where we throw old bread for the birds.
They really strut around like they own the place.
Loud and noisy, but fun to watch with all their carrying on.
