Rumor has it that this is a cover for the TOS, "Where No Man Has Gone Before".

Can’t wait, I absolutely loved the first one. “I don’t believe in a no win situation.”

Every time I watch that episode for some strange reason Obama always pops into my head. “Behold...”

This actress looks like she is playing Sally Kellerman's part.

I usually don’t buy DVDs. But I did get the first one. Good entertainment.

this was my first thought too. the limited info about thr plot says the enemy comes from within the federation or starfleet, that made me remember this guys’ powers.

People spent 40 years creating the Star Trek universe. Then with a cheap plot device the makers of the last movie just wiped it out. Poof. New Star Trek Universe. We start over from scratch.

I think it was disrespectful to the audience, and disrespectful to the whole genre.

(By this I don’t mean to imply that I actually care.)

Dang.

Take your pick.

It looks like another Jason Bourne episode or Sherlock vs. Kirk.

Blasphemy!

I mean, the part about not caring. :)

The rest I completely agree with.
