I want to be a dental floss tycoon.
It’s ridiculous that the USA can’t raise hemp but we have imported hemp on our shelves.
I'm buying stock in Frito Lay.

The good thing about them legalizing marijuana is that one hell of a lot of freeloaders just became eligible for FOOD STAMPS AGAIN!!! If you are looking for someplace to invest your money, take a look at the makers of Fritos and Cheetos.
Too bad we lost Twinkies.
The biggest surprise will be how nothing changes. Everyone who wanted to smoke pot has been smoking it all along. Anyone not interested still won’t be interested.

Yep.
There might be some increase in businesses that cater to the demographic that are now out in the open, but the number of people who light up probably won’t increase much.
There were drunks and alcoholics before Prohibition, there were drunks and alcoholics during Prohibition... and there were drunks and alcoholics after Prohibition.
I agree with you. God gave us plants as medicine to use.
I was thinking along the same lines recently. The most economically beneficial uses of hemp, from agricultural production, are going to be the last thing to be legalized. Canada legalized industrial farming and manufacturing of hemp a few years ago. I wonder what the gross profits and revenues are there now?
Oh dear ... much will change. At the least we’re going to have the Justice Department suing the State of Washington to enforce Federal Laws. Kind of a reverse Arizona deal with immigration where the Justice Department sues to stop Arizona from trying to enforce Federal Law. It should be comical.
And yea, people are going to try it. I think the more people that get stoned the better our government will get as people start seeing through the bull crap. Grandma and Grandpa switching from the 24 hours news channel to the food network.
It'll be interesting to see how things develop.

Agreed...but a watershed has been reached. Fifty years from now, the civil-liberties crowd will celebrate it as historically decisive as the repeal of the Corn Laws in 1840s UK.
Who knew that the potheads would be the ones to stand up to arbitrary, needless, and unconstitutional federal laws in a real, meaningful way?
