I was loading some ~400 lb calves one day and one of them side kicked me as it was running past me. I made an attempt to block it and use the force to move me before it made contact.
In all of the karate sparring I have done, I have never been hit that hard.
I had a mighty nice bruise for a week or so.
As to the person in the video, you NEVER first approach an animal from that direction. Maybe she learned that lesson.

When I was in elementary school one our class mates tangled with a cow during milking on his grandfathers farm. He walked around the rear of the cow as it was being milked. Hew ended up eating a hoof. He was out of school for weeks and when he returned he had a large horseshoe shaped scar and bruise on his face for months. He was lucky, the cow only delivered a glancing blow but still managed to break teeth and some facial bones.
